This Desiigner brand Talkin Smack sucks

People can complain about the stretcher spot all they want, and I do agree it went too long, but it got the reaction they were going for. The crowd went crazy when Sasha got back in the ring and the bell rang.

Hunter ain't giving up Asuka any time soon. She's pretty much the only star the NXT women's division has at present.

There really are no viable choices right now. The division has been booked so that Sasha and Charlotte are the only legit contenders. It's them or nobody.

Eh, I think Asuka will be up after WM. She'll have her match and rematch with Ember Moon Rumble and WM weekend.

I don't think they'll overlap her with Shirai and Hojo in NXT.

Brian Kendrick is fucking awesome. Might be the glue that could make this Cruiserweight Division stick.

Kendrick is great but he can't save the division. His whole thing in the classic was he worked the WWE style (with a few big moves) because he was the vet and it was his last chance. The issue now is that he's working the same style as the rest of the roster and he's not fighting to be in the company because he's given multiple matches on the main show and he's given multiple titles shots. Cedric ad Rich are probably the best guys on the show who can put on matches the main roster can't but they're too black to be given a chance.

Agreed that it's purely subjective, but I also feel fans are spoiled AF today. Half the spots in the match looked brutally painful, and you'd think that would be enough to at least get a "That was okay" from the vast majority of viewers.
So many wrestling fans are more concerned with how they are outsmarting and are a step ahead of the business than actually taking in any of the storytelling or action that is actually going on.

I agree, but that's still six months away. Hence why I said "right now." They can't put Raw's women's division on hold until Asuka is ready to go up, and that's assuming she even goes to Raw as it could be argued Smackdown needs her just as much.

So glad Sasha lost. Suicidal wrestler with zero mic skills doesn't deserve to be the champ tbh. She's fine as a contender but the true Queen needs to reign until someone who could realistically beat her shows up like Asuka.

Neck brace is standard procedure for stretchers and she was not dancing like crazy 2 seconds later she willed herself into a a few power moves and then came crashing back down to earth when her back gave out a bit. She was selling her back from start to finish.

Yeah maybe you're right i mean i didn't like that 10 minute break i was kinda out of the match after for some minutes..

Yeah indeed but they put something on their neck. The match was about the back indeed, but at some point when the match was almost stopped she was like 'i can't move anymore" and then suddenly she was like "hell bitch i gonna slap you and i'm dancing like crazy" 2 seconds later.
Rewatch it. She wasn't actually doing that at all. The whole point was that they were taking her out of the match unwillingly (the ref even telling her to 'stop fighting it') and then she finally snapped when JoJo was announcing she had to forfeit the title.

The women's match was decent, but there were some glaring ass problems that could have been prevented if someone took two seconds to think.

1.) The stretcher angle was stupid. It was a time waster and it didn't fit in the FIRST (and likely now last) women's HIAC.

2.) Sasha's power-bomb to Charlotte was written to happen. One of the reasons I believe Sasha and Charlotte have a few issues working with each other is due to Charlotte's size. She's much taller and thicker. Why did they want Sasha to powerbomb a girl that's 1.5 to 2x larger than her? She doesn't have beast muscles. Dumb call by creative.

3.) It's very clear to me those rumors were real and that Vince has no long term plans for Sasha. The finish was bad, the crowd didn't react. Terrible way to send off this match.

Charlotte falling into the table was a botch. What-ever shit happens, but the botch with the power bomb is 100% on creative.

Vince is a clown.

Yep, a stiff worker with zero mic skills is what they need

Keep Asuka away from the trash fire that is RAW and Stephanie McMahon.

Could have been a bit shorter but not gonna lie I became a huge Charlotte fan with this spot because her heel work was fucking mint, fighting with that referee, the arrogance and gloating it was beautiful and like I said they never once let that spot not be the story so I can forgive it going a bit long.

Yo that's what I'm saying

Everyone says "Sasha v Asuka" but I'm over here like "Charlotte v Asuka"

Personally I think having someone with "a lot of heart" as a counter to Asuka's domination is boring. Give me powerhouse God Queen Charlotte literally breaking Asuka to stop the kicks

It's why I enjoyed Asuka v Nia better than the Bayley matches (though the second was much better than the first)

I hope not. Asuka, Shinsuke, and Bobby Roode all need to come up before WrestleMania because they'd all be capable of epic-level WrestleMania entrances.

Why do people think Sasha lost because she's injured? Why in the fuck would WWE let her take those bumps if they knew going into the match that she was messed up?

Sure this happened at Summerslam but the bad botches there were accidental and not planned.

I agree with charlotte being a great heel yeah

Again what? That powerbomb finish was literally the culmination of the Banks storyline of the match, that she was wrestling on borrowed time and risked over exerting herself which is exactly what happened, she tried to do a big huge move and her back gave out, she beat herself, etc....

That powerbomb was written to fail because the story of the match was Sasha's fucked up back.

If you had told me in 2015 that the best things in WWE in 2016 are Chris Jericho and AJ Styles, I'd want Prince and Bowie to go ahead and die so we could get to it.

You understand Sasha failing to power bomb her was a callback to Sasha's back being "injured" at the start of the match, yeah?

lol yeah no kidding the power bomb into the table wasn't a botch. It was a Sasha is super hurt then charlotte whaled on her match over.

Now the charlotte gets kicked into a table was a botch.

Good match though. Shoulda had a blood pack.

Happy Kendrick won.

Less happy over how the whole build-up was the fact Perkins seemed too smart to fall for any heel tricks only to then fall for the most obvious heel trick in the book.

Asuka has more charisma in one hand than 90% of the women on the main roster have in their entire bodies.

I like Asuka just fine, but I don't think swapping her for Sasha solves the women's divisions problems that some here do. If its Sasha's mic skills, Asuka's not bringing that. Sasha has plenty of charisma in the ring. Maybe when she turns heel again, you'll remember why you liked her in the first place. That seems to happen a lot here.

Owen's isn't a fucking smart heel if he can have his partner in the match for 50% of the time and still look like a fucking chump. Seth looked strong in the match, but he's looked weak throughout his entire heel booking so without an explanation for him suddenly being a wrestling God it came off as him looking weak and Owens looking weaker and Jericho looking like a fucking joke.

They should have just booked a real reason for Seth to get his shit together if they wanted him to continue to be chickenshit after his hard fought return to the biz.

Seth has been booked strong since his return, it's not out of nowhere, even beating Roman clean. Owens is smart because he aimed at the injured parts and made sure that the match would become a handicap match in his favor and, again, had impressive offense even before Jericho was in, so I completely disagree with the "horrible match" part and, specially, with the "Owens' looking like a chump" part.

Oh I think Sasha is great. A certain amount of wrestling fans will hate anyone once they are pushed for long enough (see: New Day, Owens, Okada, Sasha, etc.)

I just think Asuka is great as well.
