Dirt 3 is good rally game, Showdown is more of a wild and wacky racer with destruction derby races etc. They are both made by Codemasters, which also make Grid 2 which is available for BC. That's more of a street racer with races taking places in Paris, Barcelona, Chicago, Hong Kong etc.The city courses feel a little PGR ish and feel quite intense as you speed through the streets!
They hold up nicely, but if you're more into real hardcore simulation rally well then Dirt Rally is the place to be on your Xbox One (1080@60fps too). For street racing, adrenaline filled and wild races I'd recommend Forza Horizon 2 & 3 strongly.

Too bad Black Ops 2 isnt BC on xbone. I have heard not great things about the latest CoD, so I'd have liked to go back to reliable old BO2. I'll prolly just buy Overwatch instead now. Maybe thats MS's plan? Dont make old favoritves BC, because it will discourage people from trying and buying newer games?

Alternatively that specific game (that is a 3rd party title that requires 3rd party approval and that was a late gen release that is technically taxing and would require significant testing periods) just has not been added yet.

I guess they are saving Crackdown to use as a pre-order bonus for the new Crackdown, or for when they announce a release date.
Ninja Gaiden II would be great, this is a game that is not available in PC and it's fantastic, so I really hope they make it BC sooner or later. The Splinter Cell trilogy would also be great.

I didn't like SC Conviction when it came out but I got a new copy recently from CEX for about £1 so I can give it another try when it becomes BC.

I sold my copy of Driver SF because I picked up a copy on PC which is where I typically like to own multiplats however the PC version doesn't have that local free drive split screen mode so I sort of regret selling my Xbox copy. If it goes BC I will for sure have to buy it again.

Saw this on reddit. Maybe this applies to more games? I haven't been able to play Splosion Man because of this issue for example.
Just downloaded an update that was available for Sonic and Knuckles. Sonic 3 and Knuckles now works if you own both games without needing a cloud save from a 360. Just thought some of you might want to know.

Guardian Heroes is good, if only to get us one step closer to Radiant Silvergun. Great game beyond that. More Treasure goodness is always welcome.

There was also an update for Sonic 4 Episode II, don't know what it was for. Episode Metal worked for me before but maybe it fixes it for others.

How's Dark Souls 1 run on XB1 BC? Thinking of maybe getting it again cause I love it so much (got all trophies on Ps3 and Most on PC) and wouldn't mind playing it again. Then again I doubt the performance would bother me a super huge amount, I somehow made it through Blighttown with the slowdown on PS3 fine lol

Roughly equaly to the 360 version. It didn't see the type of improvement that more recent BC releases have. I believe the black crush issue was fixed with a patch.

Pure, Split/Second, Mark of the Ninja, Sonic Racing 1, Virtua Fighter 5 Vanilla, Crackdown 1 & 2 are something I'd like at some point.
Decent. It's no PC version but the frame drops don't make it unplayable. The worst one I experienced was in the Burg looking at a burning building.
I played through twice. it's fine. better than it was on 360.

Is WB the worst culprit for preventing BC? There is no LotR , no Batman, no Harry Potter , no Injustice,etc.. Meanwhile, Disney has signed off on just about everything.
