Glad I decided not to post anything on social media voicing an expectation of Clinton winning. A silver lining of Trump winning will be that all his supporters will get to see just how shitty he will actually be as POTUS and how much farther America will fall under his rule. Hopefully they will finally see how they were lied to all this time by a man with no real plans.

This is what alot of our country wants. And it's kinda sad.

Nope! A major thing Trump has going for him is enthusiasm. People want to vote FOR him. That's something Bernie had. People here during the DNC were laughing and mocking those Bernie supporters in the audience who were crying when he endorsed Hillary. But that's because they loved him and believed he could create a better future for them. They wanted to vote FOR him. Not against Hillary or against anyone else. And that's Hillary's problem. So much of her platform was built up on why you shouldn't want to vote for Trump. The alt-right, deplorables, KKK, sexists, misogynistics etc. were pushed heavily by her and her supporters. There never was a lot of enthusiasm FOR her. But she and many others thought the hate that many have toward Trump would be enough. But that hate doesn't appear to be enough to overtake those that are actively going out to vote for someone.

This was an election that was going to mean the turning point for the party that lost. It's looking like that'll be Democrats. At the top of the lists for changes should be moving completely away from the Clinton family. You can be proud for what Bill and Hillary have done, but they need to be in the rearview of this party from now on. Not front and center.
