Well, maybe they think they can't win a discussion? I feel like anytime someone brings up a counter-argument with evidence it's the same old shit. 'nope, wrong, fuck off.'

I mean, the guy's spot on. It's been 20-30 years of fear mongering bullshit towards Conservatives, and what'd Conservatives do? Okay, here's a guy you say he is, but it never fucking sticks except for one comment and if it didn't, the race would've been a blowout on all sides (and EC wise, was, to the media's surprise).

This one thing, this one talking point about telling Conservatives they're fucking evil is probably what's halted progress more than anything in this country, and divided us more than anything else. We don't talk to people anymore. One side yells until the other gets frustrated and walks away.
Conservatives do it themselves with their backwardness.

Okay, other countries have issues. How does that diminishes the issues here, that people living here right now will be facing?

As stated previously, my mom is a lesbian and I'm dating a trans woman. Neither of them is throwing a fit, burning flags, or screaming in the streets. I have no problem with peaceful assembly but the guy hasn't even taken office yet and these assemblies haven't been that peaceful. And yes, there are idiots on both sides.

Really people overestimate the power of the President. People should be worried about the power of congress. That being said they still only have so much political capitol. Obamacare will be smashed and done away with. Taxes will be messed with. I just don't see them seriously going after LBGTQ and the ability to marry. It would be incredibly messy and make them look horrible. If it was Cruz I would worry more. Trump is not a fanatical believer though, he is a showman and he wants to be loved.

There wouldn't have been any Wikileaks about Bernie. Bernie doesn't run a fake charity which is really just a personal bank account for donations from Saudi Arabia, China, wall Street, Russia, etc

Should have nominated Bernie. Hillary's 'deny it till you die' attitude ruined her campaign. If she had been honest about the Wikileaks material from the beginning she would have had a better chance of flipping the narrative.

It turns out Americans do care about Wikileaks.

This is why Trump won. Misinformation. The Clinton Foundation is one of the highest rated charities in terms of money that goes to aid vs money for overhead and shit. You are completely misinformed. Also you missed all the emails where Hillary was reaching out to people to help them. You don't care about Wikileaks either. You just want to twist Clinton into some kind of super villain.

I am coming to grips with this. It is what it is. Trump was not the person I voted for and I am just so surprised that so many did. I feel sorry for the people that feel like they need to live in fear now. As a straight, white male, I can't relate but I totally understand where the feelings come from. I am embarrassed for our country. I just hope Donald takes this seriously and used his scare rhetoric to get the nomination. This is a very consequential election. I am willing to give him a shot. I have to - he's my Commander in Chief, whether I like it or not.

This delusional thinking is why Hillary lost. Everything you said is a lie.

In the year when Wolf Blitzer let the Democrats write the questions he asked Trump, you had better not whine about the source or the journalistic integrity. Waaah.

Democracy fucking sucks and Donald trump being goddamned president of the United States is living proof of that.

But stand idly back while rights are taken away because it doesn't affect you initially.

I'm Canadian and voted Liberal in our last election, and we succeeded as a people in getting rid of Conservatives and getting a Liberal majority.

The American people made their choice, and yes, not voting is a choice. Let's not pretend you'd have the same stance if things had gone the other way.

Umm your "source" says that Charity Navigator has stopped rating the Clinton Foundation.

https://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=16680

Latest rating was 9/1/16.

Your news wire.com is not a valid source. They are misinforming you.

I see. You got it all figured out there.

It's really mind-boggling how much better Trump did than Mitt Romney and even more in how he beat Hillary Clinton.

This election will go down in US history as an anomaly.

I just picked a random fact in that story:

This unusual approach to charity has flummoxed Charity Navigator, one of the leading independent organizations that track charities. Charity Navigator has stopped giving the Clinton Foundation a charity ranking at all.

I then went to Charity Navigator. The Clinton Foundation has the best possible rating?

this is just so fucking stupid.. she got absolutely clobbered in the electoral college and the experts are starting to say that Trump might win the popular vote as well but no lets just rig it after the fact and possibly lead our country into a civil war.

if you want a country that rigs its election move to Russia or Turkey.

There's a strong enough army that rigging already occurred via the FBI reopening of the investigation.

But why did the Clinton foundation admit that 85% of the money doesn't go to charity? Don't you think that's kind of high?

Many of you are still in denial about why she lost. Maybe it's incurable. I'm thrilled that I never have to worry about Hillary Clinton ever again.

Voted Jill not Hill.

as someone from latin america im not as worried about Trump specifically as I am about just the world in general suddenly taking a fuckin hard Right turn, and what his victory means for that

France and Italy probably to follow...

it's pretty crazy. Lot of progress previous generations worked hard for us to enjoy halted or even set back.

after Venezuela, fuckin Macri's Argentina now..

boy.

My country (Chile) is next. We have an election on 2017 and it's looking grim.

I decided to write a longer response.

I just read through the article and researched a little bit myself. This whole article is about the technicality that the Clinton Foundation doesn't mainly give their money to other organisations to carry out the humanitarian work (15%) but that they do it in-house and thus mark this money as expendatures in-house. So when this article says "They only spend 15% of their money on charity!" what it actually means is "They only spend 15% of their money on a certain kind of charity and let's ignore the actual number that you would get to if you counted the work they are doing in house with their own employees which is the whole point of the Foundation!". Office Supplies are part of that work. Travels are. Rent is. IT is. Salaries are. Because that is literally how they manage to do their work in-house. The whole argument is this picture:

Clinton-Foundation-2013-Breakdown.jpg

"Look! Only 10% Charitable grant! That means everything else did not go to Charity!", ignoring that travel expanses, salaries, rent etc. to allow the people doing the actual charitable work are exactly how charities spend their money, compared to other Foundations simply giving other charities the money, who then use that money in exactly that way. Now: Can we discuss how exactly the Foundation uses that money? Yes! Can we discuss if it's OK for a political person to be part of this Foundation? YES! But throwing around articles that literally start by saying "The Clinton Foundation is a giant vampire squid with its filaments wrapped around the world and its blood funnel jamming relentlessly into anything that smells like money." that then willfully misrepresent a fact in a way that makes it look like the Clinton Foundation just soaks up 85% of their money into oblivion while this is factually untrue based on their open finances is exactly the demonising shit that makes me tune out and ignore anything you post, only for you to then ask me why I wouldn't listen to your arguments.

This happens almost every time. "LOOK, HILLARY CLINTON KISSED A KKK MEMBER!". Oh. It's actually someone who left and denounced the KKK, worked as a Senator and was commended by the NAACP. "HILLARY CLINTON LITERALLY WANTS TO START WORLD WAR 3". Oh. It's no fly zones that experts agree are a bad idea and the Trump campaign stylized it into her actually wanting a WW3.

Meanwhile I just have to quote Trump. No spin. No other sources. Just him and his own words and promises and campaigns. That's all I need.

There you go. This is why.

Yes, it's the liberals telling conservatives their evil that's the problem. Man, go take a look at what happened after Obama got elected, how the right reacted, and how they made it their life goals to obstruct every single thing he possibly did, and label him a failure that would destroy america, yadda yadda yadda. (and this INCLUDES Trump and his bullshit rhetoric and racism i.e bitherism). Obama was out there trying to be diplomatic, reach across the isle, even appointing republicans to positions, and he was treated like dirt by Republicans, and you actually wanna see it's on Liberals? They lost their damn mind when he won, and frankly, they never got it back, and more and more people get dragged into their shit.

Newt Gingrich went on FOX news and said they aren't going to listen to moderate Republicans (Never Trump people) and will not reach out to Democrats.
