"Streamer" "shows off" "Nintendo Switch" live on stream.

We're now at a point where kids are throwing away shitloads of money to Twitch streamers regularly, which means people making fake shit like this have a monetary incentive to do this.

Nintendo right now

That's too good to be 3D printed. Maybe he got hold of the version used for the trailer/promo? Weren't those just empty shells?

That looks exactly like it's 3D printed. Look at the grossly printed ABXY logo. Look at the "skeleton" of the right stick.

Eh I wouldn't be surprised if it was real

But I'm still more curious as to how fucked up he was in that Twitter video, Etika man how this happen

Remember when he analysed Smash footage to prove Ridley was most definitely in as a fighter…

…from a sequence clearly stating he was a stage hazard lol.

I can tell it's fake because of the anime poster on the wall.

No trustworthy human being would own stuff like that.

Yup, 3D printed. Even the Wii u gamepad looks sturdier than this

Looks like it has signs of being a 3d print actually on the stick and the bottom right button. Color looks off too?

Ok, now I'm on #TeamFake. Looks cheap as hell.

I am choosing to believe that is fake.

Nintendo is not so fucking stupid as to send a Switch to rando streamers...right?

Right?

Tip: Note how whenever people claim they got ahold of the Switch early, they never, ever show the system turned on, its UI, etc.

Exactly. If they were real the only reason to not turn them on was if Nintendo somehow bricked all units until nearer launch; and in that case why would they have them? There's no excuse, especially when he supposedly doesn't give a fuck.

The shade of grey is also much lighter.

I'm going with team fake.

And the white bit around the home button is entirely wrong. It's nicely bevelled in the real one, where it almost looks like a white sleeve around the button in the fake.

Welp, someone's getting sued for breaking a non-disclosure agreement if legit.

That's not how NDA's work. I mean, what kind of NDA would that even be?

"Hey we're giving you a piece of hardware that has never left Nintendo property, that won't come out for another five months and that is so top secret that not even our software partners are allowed to talk about it. But here's you're unit, because you're a YouTuber."

What.
