Basically beat the game, max out fishing/cooking/photography/survival, beat 80 side quests, kill adamantoise, and everything else is small miscellaneous stuff.

How long are we looking at for the platinum here?

Mission accomplished GAF. Finally got my copy (NYC). Lol this one guy at the store was buying a different game and was like "did you just request FFXV?". The dude got it also without even knowing the store had it.

Anyways this patch is taking forever... luckily I bought a bottle of champagne in celebration to tide me over. Good or not it can't be worse than FFXIII... seriously that would take effort.

Got my copy as well earlier today NYC Gaf. Thank the universe I got out from work early.

I'm just sitting here at my PS4 waiting for this fucking 7 gig download to happen. Literally the slowest PS4 download I've ever experienced. It says it won't be done for 4 hours.... Never happened to me before.

You can cancel your preorder from amazon with no fee. There's something wrong if its coming over a week late.

I don't wanna cancel it because I got the 30% pre-order discount. I tried calling them and they moved it up by a day so I'll get it on Dec 6th at the earliest. Guess its better than nothing.

As much as I love it, this game sometimes feels like it's Blue Balls: The Game.

I feel you both. Me and HeelPower are also Montreal-based and we've been looking, but neither of us have found anything yet ;( I'll PM you if I find something but haven't been getting my hopes up. Even just playing it this weekend would be nice.

Regarding costumes, I like Prompto better in his default set (leopard print jeans!!!); Noctis and Ignis look good to me in their Casual sets without jackets...but good god does Gladio not know how to dress himself. His trousers are all wrong, all of the time.

I'm pretty sure there's a way to go to it. Maybe a high level hunt gives you access to it?

Considering how recent they showed it and the fact they mentioned that certain places can only be reached with the airship, I'm still thinking there's some way to reach it

Yeah it existed as I just stoped playing duscae now, it was a really helpful mechanic and kind of a shame of they got rid of it in the full game.

Yes. Combat requires good positioning, switching between weapons , dodging, comboing with group and phase shifting smartly.

(I haven't been keeping up with this thread) Did you get the standard edition on Amazon? I just tried pre-ordering it and it shows estimated delivery Nov 29th and that's with Amazon Prime.
