I could understand it for the Capcom side of the roster. Capcom don't seem to be swimming in cash these days, and if there was any chance of reusing anything from MvC3 they'd probably do it. Let's not forget that this series was built on recycled assets.

If they don't touch my Dormammu (He's gotta be in, him and Doc) and find another system to replace the air tag punishment systems and XFactor (The two main problems I had with U/MvC3) this has the potential to be my new favorite game of all time.

The air tag system from TvC was superior in almost every damn way. It's even still in Marvel 3's code but disabled.

My concern is that even if Marvel allows Capcom to use Fox characters, it'll only be limited to the bare essentials (the rumors were that Marvel may ease up on the ban, not completely lift it, though that may have been a wording choice of whoever on ComicsGAF told me about it). There's still a bunch of MCU characters that Marvel would want to advertise.
Trust me, I really wanted to squeeze in Cyclops (maybe Young Cyclops to have most of the Champions in the game).

Amen. TvC!Ryu having that Joudan/Mule Kick is part of what made him so fun to play in that game, and what makes him my fave version of him (with Smash's coming a close second).
If he was the only Capcom shoto in the game, it'd be great if they made him closer to that version of him.
