Speaking of FF9, is the PC port good? Or does it have that always online, Square-Enix account required, barebones mobile port stuff that other Final Fantasy ports have had?

Question! You say the game is the definitive version, however I'm curious about "Equipment % Display" which was supposedly lost in the Wii version (discussed HERE). Not having played the game, I wonder if it's there or not in the PC version!

N++ is one of the best pure skill-based platformers of all time. Incredible amount of content too.
And fantastic local coop too! (in which we are at the top of the leaderboards for more than half the levels)
I'm currently playing through this and my damn completionist mind won't let me move on to the next level set until I've found all of the gold bits on each level.
I'm currently stuck on that one piece in the second level on C-02
oh 20 hours is not short at all, wtf. Maybe I heard it in a "its short for a jrpg"?

I would like to know this as well, thinking of picking up IX. From the curator groups, I can see it has a 30fps lock, but thats not so bad if at least has an offline mode and runs well.
IX is your best bet, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of those choices!
And all the new ones that are that same model of course. Dawn Shadow, both of those god ugly Gears of War controllers, anything from the design lab etc.
New black ones as well, but gotta make sure you get a new one instead of old stock.

Not experience with the other 3, but Civ6 needs some more patching before it's worth it Imo. There's a great foundation there, but AI issues, bugs, and a poor UI are currently dragging down the otherwise great game play. By the time they fix that, it should also be cheaper too

The only one I've heard of is Castaway Paradise. I have no idea if it's any good or not, but it seems to still receive regular updates.
Stardew Valley is a Harvest Moon clone, but the series are similar.
Either X/X-2 or IX is my suggestion. Setsuna is... not as good as those (and it performed very poorly for me with a 970 and an i5-2500k at every resolution outside of 720p). IX can be kind of slow but I think it's the best of those 3 story wise and if looking for old school. X-2 has a great battle system. X has an interesting battle system with the swapping.
There are frame pacing issues. You can't have constant 60fps all the time (you'll have dips). Outside of that, the trilogy on PC is the definitive version, I'd say.

They're all good (OK no, X-2 is shit) but they're pretty different so I think it depends on what you're looking for. I really enjoyed Setsuna but if you aren't really into Chrono Trigger you might not dig it as much. Both Setsuna and IX are interesting mechanically, but IX is slower and longer. On the other hand IX is much more light-hearted and I can see someone finding Setsuna a bit... homogenous.
X is great but it's long and fully voiced and some people really like to make fun of it these days, so if you're the type who's going to complain about the "ha-ha-ha" scene you might find the whole plot really cringy, so maybe just avoid it.
Can't speak to the quality of the IX or X ports, and actually I'd like to hear impressions if anyone else can. Setsuna's great on PC of course.

Thanks. I was def leaning "no" on Civ VI. Tyranny is the main holdup, I suppose. I have some free time now that it's the holidays and I'd love to jump in, but with 10 percent off only I don't know if I can justify it. Especially when i can potentially get planet coaster and/or DBZ Xenoverse II for about 5-8 dollars cheaper and potentially get the other one too.
Animal Crossing's (and I'm talking only about the Gamecube game) strength lies not in its breadth but in its heart.
No mobile game port is going to come close.

Is there any reason to get Talos Principal on PC over PS4?
Right now it is on sale on both platforms, but the PS4 version is cheaper and also includes the DLC whereas the Steam version the DLC is a separate purchase.
Its a few dollars difference, however if there is a good reason to go PC like better performance for example, Ill do that.

i had a fair bit of motion sickness when playing the talos principle with a controller
if you're sensitive to that stuff like i am you might want to buy it on pc since u can also try the mouse out (which is how i played it, also tweaked the settings a bunch and switched between 3rd and 1st person a lot)
also the game itself feels really complete, i haven't played the dlc and i'm pretty happy with what i got

Ugh... These devs just don't know when to quit. First a (complete) paid expansion while still in EA and now this. Geez.
Stardew Valley shall rightfully take the crown without and bribery involved. There can be no other victor.

I don't know but I am not voting for ARK thats for sure, but looks like Stardew Valley has 2nd most active players after ARK so I will probably vote for that.

That's a good idea. The refund system might come in handy.
I had to tick all of the motion sickness options + play in 3rd person + play at 720p. I don't know what it is about the Serious Engine, but it always makes me feel bad.
I can't speak to the PS4 versions performance, but the PC version has more graphics settings than I've ever seen in any other game. It's clear that a lot of care and effort went into it. Hard to argue against a cheaper price that also includes the DLC, though.

I think I've gotten that before, make sure you're logged in when viewing your inventory. Soemetimes I'll be logged in on the store page but logged out on the inventory page.
