Anyone know if Assassin's Creed Rogue runs well on PC?

Picked up surprsingly more games this sale than I expected:
Glittermitten Grove. Simply amazing. Not on sale as it just came out. I got my money's worth out of this. Played it to completion (I think?) right after I got it (~8 hours). Quite entertaining. Absolutely recommended. The management sim is much deeper than you expect.
Witcher 3: Wild Hunt GOTY Edition. I couldn't pass this up either. I barely have the HDD space to install it, but am excited to dive in for the next several weeks. Everything I have heard is amazing.

Zero problems finishing the game with a 970. Keep in mind the game just redeems to a uplay key and you need uplay installed to run the game.
I'm a huge AC fan and thought the game was just kinda meh, I'd recommend only playing it if you have finished every other AC game. You should definitely play AC2, AC4, and Syndicate before you play Rogue imo as those are better games story/mechanics wise. Rogue is built on top of AC3 engine (maybe AC4) I believe but uses a lot of ideas from AC4. Also the ubi store has a deal where you can get Rogue, Black Flag, and Liberation for $20 total. They also have other bundles like Syndicate+Unity or EVERY AC game for like $110 (seems expensive).

This is the only steam sale to date where I have yet to buy a single gameI guess my library is mostly complete.
the amount of content in Paint it Back is ridiculous
I think it's pretty clear that the first step to obtaining actual information in an online discussion is to not put off your audience immediately with a broad strokes statement about how they're probably all wrong anyway.
How is the first one? Never heard of it before, I've only played diner dash and overcooked, this does look fun though.
Did you want people to lie to you and say that they thought Child of Light was bad? That's not how recommendation and preferences work.
Huh, so you wanted us to validate your bad taste? Good to know, I'll ignore your questions in the future
(just kidding, I won't ignore you for disliking good games)
I bought it for the art style. I ended up loving it for everything else, plus the art style. It shouted "great game" to me and was even better.
I put Ori as number one this year.
It's a God tier game. And is in my top 3 GOAT.
And this is coming from a casual non-metroidvania gamer.
Just trust me. You will love it.
I bought Ori due to literally everyone saying it was the second coming of video game platformers. I will say after beating it and unlocking everything that it's a solid platformer with hit detection issues and "cheap" difficulty added in.
People will say that it's not meant to be "easy." I agree, some parts are done well and you definitely feel like "yeah, I died and it was definitely my fault," but there were numerous instances where unless you knew exactly what was happening and what would come up, there's no way you'll catch it unless you have some seriously good reflexes. The controls and jumping can also be a bit finicky at times, but I would say the majority of the time it controls well enough.
It's not a bad game, I still would recommend people to play it because the art design is absolutely mesmerizing, but definitely don't go in thinking it's as amazing as people hype it up to be. It has its flaws.
Metroidvania defines the structure of the game, not the main gameplay mechanics. The structure could be summed up as "traversing huge interconnected worlds with relative freedom and possible sequence-breaking, having to backtrack and unlock new areas and items with new powers"
The gameplay mechanics and the genre change accordingly; all of these are "metroidvania" games as far as structure goes, but with different twists:
- Outland: action platformer (with a sprinkle of bullet hell)
- Guacamelee: beat 'em up / platformer
- Metroid: shoot 'em up / platformer
- Metroid Prime: fps
- Castlevania: hack 'n' slash / rpg
- Infinitely Twisted Shadow Planet: arcade flying / shooter
- Kirby and the Amazing Mirror: puzzle platformer / action platformer
- Ori: platformer
As for your original question about Ori, it's worth the price and it's several leagues above Outland (which is kind of an average game), in both artistic and design choices. Hope that can help.
Downloaded the demo...was really fun. Thanks for the mention.
That 52 game thread broke me, im long past the 52 games but now I dont want to play any new ones until 2017.
When I finished Assault Android Cactus the other day I actually thought to myself "aw man should have saved it for 2017"
Guess its more Paint it Back until then, that shit wont be over for weeks with the amount of content it has.
Stupid made up arbitrary goals >_<

Was dark siders 2 good?
I enjoyed it, particularly the dialogue and early part where the mystery was still mysterious. As the game neared the end I wasn't especially interested but finished it up anyway.I felt the same way. After finishing a play through I thought it was very cool seeing how my choices measured up against other players.
im saying Sattelite Reign and Grim Dawn are most likely to not show up in bundles anytime soon.
If you want my actual recomendation, its Darkest Dungeon since its near the top of my games of the year. I dont like Grim Dawn, and I havent played Sattelite Reign yet, And I havent bought Invisible Inc because, like I said, im sure it will be in a humble monthly soon enough.
Looks like GTAV has passed 6 million owners according to Steamspy. I wonder how much more they sold via their Social Club thing. Either way what a monster of a game for R* and it was like 2 years late coming to PC. Such a beast.
What's your thought about Liberation? I forgot that it got a PC port.

Any good deals on Civ 5?
GTAV in first person with gyro steering / aiming is the best thing right now. I'm enjoying myself way too much.
What profile are you using?
Was really excited for the nameless king fight in Dark Souls 3 and then the dude I summoned 1 hit the first phrase and the second stage was over in 30 seconds lol. I should completely solo first playthoughs.
What profile are you using?
He's using the "I still havent bought Melty Blood because im a cheap bastard" profile.
And yet RDR2...
I made my own, it's based on a regular 360 config. I'm currently using a mod to give the game native steam controller support, so it switches when i'm on foot, or in a vehicle. I'm still trying to figure out how best to handle Gyro Steering, but this is what I've got so far: http://i.imgur.com/RsJqhKw.png - it feels really good to me.
For Aiming, I have the right pad set to Mouse-Like Joystick (with sensitivity pushed a bit high in the game), and it switches to Mouse when I pull on the left trigger (Mode Shifting option in the Touchpad editor). Gyro is also enabled when I pull on the left trigger.
If you aren't interested in modding it, you can just set a button that switches between action sets. If you run into any troubles just let me know.
