I've put a couple hundred hours into Squad. I absolutely love it. My favorite FPS in years. If you like Arma I would definitely recommend it. Just keep in mind that the game lives and dies on your teammates. Get a squad that communicates, follows the squad leaders orders, works together, and it's a really great experience. You can get some intense firefights that are just a blast to play out - check out some YT vids. On the flip side, get a bunch of lone wolf type players and it's no fun at all. The positive is that I've ran into far more of the communicative team player type than I have the COD kind of player.

I think you just sold me on the game.

In other news, picked up Rocket League. I played a lot of it when it was first released on PS4, but haven't played in about a year since I don't want to pay for plus. Didn't know how I'd be after all this time and to my surprise scored 4 goals in my first match. I feel like it's going to dig its claws in me all over again.

Very disappointed to find out it has no 4K option though.

Every time I get that email I check, but nope, nothing new on sale.

Ban Puncher: I think if I had seen that episode I would have continued to watch Nagi no Asukara.
 
Ok, so final tally of winter sales/purchases. Also had my first Steam refund.

GameStop- Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag ($2.97 clearance)
 
I started playing through the first episode of Higurashi yesterday night... i only bought the first episode to give it a shot, on a good friend's recommendation.

The first few hours were boring as hell, intolerable slice of life BS, and I was regretting my (heavily discounted) purchase...

...then the game throws a massive curveball plot wise, and I'm staring at my laptop at 12:30 AM trying not to make any noise and wake everybody up. Game is creepy as hell, highly recommended for horror fans who can stand the visual novel format.

(Also, I immediately bought the other three episodes before going to sleep.)

fallout 4 is actually not that bad

it's the goofy, dumb cousin to the real fallouts but it's effective at what it does and if it wasn't broken as fuck i would've actually kept playing it

I made like 50€ in three days just selling all my cards from games with names started with A and a bit of the cards from games with names started with B.

Spaceport Hope isn't bad for 50 cents. It's not great, but I was actually able to play through it.
