- Eijo Aonuma from Nintendo revealed some new tidbits for Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess:

The game uses the largest development team than any other game in the series.
Link and the other character will have motion captured animation.
The content is large than Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time and every other Zelda title.
The total play time is over 100 hours if you finish the main story, all the events and solve all the secrets.
Many new features and creative elements are present in the game, that were supposed to be used in the next generation Zelda title

Am I beating a dead horse here?

hmm... why not just make it next-gen if many of the features were supposed to be in a next-gen game anyway? And does this mean a next-gen zelda is already in development?

Well those two are news to me. What exactly do they mean by the last comment.....maybe as in things that can be used with the Rev or just features they intended to use next-gen? hmm

That's good to hear.

I'm fine with this holding us over for the a Rev. Zelda game untill 2008.

Honestly, I think they should have only one Zelda game on the next console, making it unquestionably AAA, while they try and get the output of the Mario series to 2 or more releases per generation.

Sounds like Magic Box cut and pasted the GAF thread from yesterday that was already regurgitating news from E3.

I know the story is old, but is it possible that we're still going to get the above in TP or at the time back in 2003, the creative features were Link transforming into a wolf, because seriously. The quote is giving me a huge hardon for this game.

100 hours??? doubtful

I remember nintendo saying Starfox adventures was 80 hours plus and that could have easily been beaten in a rental.

Holy crap, is it using the Dark Side to sustain itself? o_0
I recall reading an AP article on that woman months ago. She's the oldest woman in the world. I think she's like 116 or 126 or something like that.

You do know they're not talking about the main quest by itself, right?

Without sidequests included I would like the new Zelda to last around 40 - 60 hours. Regardless of sidequests, this will probably be the longest Zelda title yet. Nintendo must want to make up for the second half of Wind Waker.

I also read an interview ages ago that said they were putting more effort into the puzzles. I really hope so too. Wind Waker's biggest fault was its difficulty. It was fine at the start but it never seemed to increase in difficulty as you progressed through the game. I want this new Zelda game to stump me...in the same way the water temple did in OoT.
