Did the CE Edition of the guide only just become available for pre-order? It's not available on UK Amazon, yet. Art book is there, though.
I haven't read the leak, does this support it?The villains' symbol:

Yep.Do we know if this game is single player only?
Yes, SP only.Do we know if this game is single player only?
Yeah it's single player focusedDo we know if this game is single player only?
Do we know if this game is single player only?
I'll never understand this.
At least it's better than a dude who kept saying aloy has dreadlocks instead of braids.
well, the game obviously presents itself as a serious story.. but it has robodinos. there's a disconnect. for some reason it bothers me enough to make me think the whole premise is dumb, turning me off the game.
i can play silly games (played over 100 hours of EDF recently), i don't need everything to be serious and gritty and realistic.. it's just that when a game tries to be that but has overly silly elements and unintentionally awful dialogue, i lose interest.
understandable?

looks incredible technically. sadly i just can't take the game seriously :/ robodinos are just a bit too silly. and Guerrilla is still incapable of making likable characters (anyone remember ANY character from any of the KZ games? except Rico who everyone hated).
pass for me.
some more artworkCan we just take a moment to appreciate this cover ?

Its robo whatever. You know, outside of that T Rex I don't think this game has robodinos at all, I mean the concept art an early rumors made us think that way but every time they show new robots all I see are robo equivalencies to our actual fauna.
I'm getting more and more into this game every trailer I see. Will definitely preorder if I've finished Gravity Rush 2 by release.
Just watched it and holy shit it looks so clean and good. This game is going to look so good in CB4K!!!

Since when is sentiant AI life silly? No I don't understand at all, and I certainly would not deprive myself of a great game due to this reasoning. Guess star wars is too silly for you and Lord of the rings, and a gazillion other great works.
Its robo whatever.
AI is certainly interesting which is why i'll probably play Detroit (and i can deal with any bad dialogue because at least the premise isn't dumb).
but why in the world would AI robots look like dinosaurs and crocodiles and shit? it's too over-the-top silly to me, i can't get over it. and i don't trust GG will have a good explanation for it... i hope they prove me wrong.

Yeah some amazing stuff.Still cool of course, my favourite trailer so far is the PSX one with tons of roboanimals (especialy the panters).
Whenever someone says robodinos/animals are silly I have to ask them how well aware are they on the current state affairs in robotics in the real world because often times real life robots are based on animals.

Surprise surprise its easier to base robotics on proven real world models instead of reinveting the wheel. These aren't even the only robots based on living creatures. There are six legged hexapod bots that look and move just like spiders and crabs or even soft bodied robots based on squid and jellyfish.
good points, but usually these types of designs are attempts to optimize movement (so that they can move on different terrains, use less energy etc). and they are not finished products by any means, more like lab experiments. when they become actual functional robots that serve a purpose, i doubt they'll look like t-rex.. because that would be pointless and silly.
what purpose do the robodinos serve in the world of Horizon? why would super intelligent AIs want to be housed in clunky and impractical dinosaur forms? it just does not make any sense to me.
i'll admit i'm wrong if there's a plausible explanation.
Dinosaurs ruled the Earth at a point. Why wouldn't it make sense to have Robo-Dinos - wouldn't that be the ultimate animal predator? If you're modeling yourself using knowledge of biological species you could do far worse. Dinosaurs could be the next best thing to having an AI human.
Or an AI rebuilds everything it can find to repopulate the world.Machines evolve based on the path of biological evolution (due to having access to mankind's knowledge). Thus machines inspired by paleobiology in this era of their evolution
There's a reason that could make sense
nah i don't buy that.
big ass dinosaurs went extinct precisely because their forms were impractical for survival. their evolved designs were dumb. no intelligent AI would copy their characteristics, well maybe some aspects but not wholesale so that you could even recognize specific species..
not every game need shoe'ed in multiplayer
Very excited for this. This looks like the big new IP of the generation to me.

I hope this is the last trailer they release (sans the launch trailer). I'm barely getting through not watching this one lol.
I haven't watched that one either. I'm on blackout.
