I had very little hope for this movie, the first trailer made me think this would actually be ok in some ways. Sad its going the way of the rest but not surprised. Also hate the character sound tracks they are doing for this universe. They are all pretty bad, WW's especially.

I genuinely hope they can turn it around but eh...

I don't doubt it is probably a mess right now, but there probably isn't a final cut yet and there can still be some reshoots coming up who knows.

Yes, that was sarcasm. DC just won't learn their lesson because their steaming shit piles are still bringing in money. I can't wait for a couple of these to bomb financially for them so they are forced to make good ones instead.

But I'm not equating Batmans to Inauguration Protests or anything - I'm saying the mechanisms that have led to our lazy-ass media servicing confirmation biased readers are not only the same as in the entertainment media field, I'm saying they more or less started there, and filtered outwards to other branches. (Gamergate is a particularly relevant example)

It's hard to complain about how shitty the news is when you reward shitty news with repeated views of their lazy, irresponsible reporting, or even worse, when you carry the water for those irresponsible outlets as if they're worth time and eyeballs.

It's not much of a leap sideways from one terrible aggregator to another.

This is fair, and I see which angle you're coming from. I don't quite swallow things the way most would, which obviously skews my vision when it comes to conversations like this. You certainly make a valid point, from a "whole picture" perspective. Guess I'm just old and hearing the term "fake news" here (in a comic book thread), of all places, seemed like an extreme. And I'm sure you'd agree that folks tend to go ape shit when it comes to the subject.

I take all of this as noise and rumour in the end. Nothing is going to stop me from watching what I've decided to watch. Not sure why it would..we ain't gonna know until we know for ourselves..

That's the movie that was supposed to be released but the studio fucked him, It amazes me that he still wants to work with them but I guess he believes in the project. I would have told Warner to go fuck themselves. There are people who boycott the Extended cut, just refuse to see it. How crazy is that. It's like how people butch about Vader saying Noooooooo in RotS and RotJ, first of all Vader's not the one saying Noooo, Anakin is. Both times.

It's going to sound off being a comic book film but the costume is quite jarring in this World War setting. We have this gritty looking backdrop and then someone donning gear from ancient Rome.

There could be a scene where they advice others not be kill by her, because her sword traps the souls of her victims.

Real or not, there's a history with these movies and a lack of strong motivation to change anything. They've proven several times that they can put together a good trailer. They haven't done so well with putting together a good movie.

While the Extended Ultimate Director's Cut did fix some issues,mostly storywise and plotpoints, the movie itself remained an unbearable mess.
