How much are you spending on a Switch day one?

Super Bomberman R is going to sell a lot of copies just for being a launch title and there not being much else to play. I'm excited for it, but if it released on PS4 right now, I'm not sure I'd pick it up.

Nintendo Switch $299.99
Neon JoyCon's $79.99
Switch JoyCon Charging Grip $29.99
2x Breath of the Wild Master Edition's $259.98
1x Breath of the Wild Special Edition $99.99
Super Bomberman R $49.99
Binding of Isaac $39.99
Hori Premium Screen Protector $19.99

Total: $879.91

Sweet baby Jesus

$460 + taxes

Switch + Zelda

I have the Switch pre-ordered at Wal-mart and I'll be getting Zelda from Gamestop for them Power Up Pro points. I might also pick up some joy con straps if they don't come with the console.

On day one?
System (Neon & Red) = 319€
Zelda
Bomberman

Sorry about the lack of prices for the games, I know how much they cost on Amazon but I have no clue what the price is going to be digitally.

First month? Add FAST RMX, easily my most hyped game until Fire Emblem Warriors hits.

Console + extra pair of controllers + Zelda = ~$450 I think?

+ Bomberman if it's day 1, so ~$500?

The extra pair of controllers is so we can play 4up Bomberman at lunch.

So far:

Console $299
Zelda $48
Bomberman $40

So that's $388.

Best Buy is doing their club discount on the games, so that's nice.

I'll buy a Pro Controller if they show up. And maybe a Charging Grip, I haven't decided yet.

Switch $300
Zelda $60
Snipperclips $20
Zelda Amiibo $15

Switch itself is preordered. The rest aren't as I haven't decided if I want to preorder Zelda and the Amiibo online and risk them not coming at the same time the Switch does or if I'll just go pick them up in a physical store that day. My birthday's the next month so I can grab Bomberman then.

Console 299.99
Puyo puyo tetris-39.99 - amazon 31.99
Zelda- 59.99- amazon 51.99
Binding Of Isaac -amazon 31.99
Screen protector 15ish

445 ish

switch x 4 = $1,199.96
zelda masters edition x 3 = $311.98
zelda special edition x 3 = $239.98
super bomberman r x 2 = $79.98
tax = $160.29
total = $1,992.19

getting paid back on some stuff and a couple are gifts. maybe a pro controller or two too.
Jesus Christ you are one rich 🐦

I have two pre-ordered just in case one gets cancelled, but after realizing how much what I want will be, I might keep both.

Dock - $90
JoyCon Pair - $80
Charging Grip - $30

For a hundred bucks more, that's a second system. I might just end up sitting on one until homebrew's a thing, or flip the Switch-only for at least $150.

So:
Switch x2 - $648.72
Puyo Puyo Tetris - $34.63
Zelda Breath of the Wild - $38.96
Case - $16.23

Total $738.54

But I've been flipping so many older games on eBay and the BST thread, I'll be coming out ahead.

Down the line I'm picking up Splatoon 2 for $38.96 as well. Thanks Best Buy's Visa $25 off thing.

ZAMtendo

Obliterating everything that's not your friend
Console - £280
Zelda - £90
Pro Controller - £55
128 SD card - £32

£457

Also I preordered MK Deluxe - £45
I plan to get my second joycon set and grip for then too.

Enjoy the money Nintendo!

I still have a pre-order, but right now I'm not quite sure if I keep it because with my limited budget I could wait until Splatoon 2 comes out. But...

Nintendo Switch Neon-Red/Neon-Blue - 330 €
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - 70 €

So 400€ ($430, tax included in euro-price) just to play Zelda, no extras included. First, Germany got fucked price-wise. Second, I WILL get Zelda but I still consider getting it on Wii U. Huh.

Absolutely nothing unless preorders reopen.

..are we expecting preorders to reopen?

:(

(Didn't expect to be in the states during launch week but now I'll be there for work on the 4th. Not launch day, which complicates things further.)

Let's see...I'm getting these things day one. MSRP, and my actual cost with sales in parentheses:

Switch - $300 ($135 after trading in an extra Wii U, which I had made a $50 profit on)
Extra Neon Joycons - $80 ($60)
Binding of Isaac - $40 ($24)
Super Bomberman R - $50 ($30)
LoZ:BotW Master Edition - $130 ($74)

Total with tax on launch is about $350.

For after launch, I already have preordered:

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - $60 ($36)
PuyoPuyo Tetris - $40 ($24)
ARMS - $60 ($36)
Splatoon 2 - $60 ($36)
Super Mario Odyssey - $60 ($36)

Without 5.5% tax, its out to $491 spent pre-launch. Due to some odd math in how my purchases went, it won't be exact, but it should come out to about $527.

Switch (Grey) £279.99
Zelda BotW £45.99
1-2 Switch £28.85 (Amazon + discount code)
Official Switch Accessory set (Case + screen protector) £16.99
Subsonic 16 game case £7.85
Toshiba Exceria M302 128GB MicroSD £32

Total £411.67

Did have 2 extra Neon Joy-Con pre-ordered for ARMS but cancelled for now, going to wait for reviews, and see if there is a bundle with a pair of Joy-Con closer to release. Don't think there will be a shortage of Joy-Con.

Used that Gamestop deal to trade in my Wii U and games to get a system and Zelda, normal edition. Had almost enough to pay it off, so when I'll be paying about 30 on pick-up day. I might snag one of those charger joycon holders, but I'm not holding my breath on getting that first day.

Let's see:

Nintendo Switch: 380€
The legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Limited Edition: 100€

Maybe:
Super Bomberman R: 60€

So 540€ at most, probably not getting any digital games right out of the gate. Altough I have another preorder of BotW Limited Edition preordered, not sure I keep that one, though.

I'll probably end up spending between £400 and £500 depending on the eshop launch lineup and a carrycase accessory. Worth it for Zelda.

$0 :(.

I don't meant to shit post or anything, its going to be my first Nintendo console i'm not picking up at launch since the GameCube. I just can't justify spending any money on gaming with my current finances and being back in college. Once things improve, i'll dive in deep!

Nintendo Switch (Gray) - € 265 through amazon.es and some coupons
Zelda:BOTW - £39.99 thanks to amazon.co.uk's BIGTHANKS coupon (-£10)

That makes it € 310 for console + game which is a price i'm comfortable with, and €90 cheaper than if I had to buy it in Belgium.
So thanks retailers (amazon in particular) I'd say!
Switch itself will apparently arrive on the 8th of march instead of the third though, but that isn't too bad I guess.

Alright, finally have all my preorders in.

Gray Switch console and Zelda (BestBuy.com w/GCU): $372.34

Rider Link, Archer Link, Zelda Amiibo (BestBuy.com w/GCU): $41.06

Pro Controller (Amazon.com): $66.08 (had $8 and something in credit from my Amazon Visa)

So $479.48 total. Pricier than I'd like, especially since we just booked a vacation to Italy in May. But so be it. Can't wait for March 3rd!

Just the console (hoping on Neon) and standard edition Zelda. I really can't believe I'm buying a Nintendo console on day one.

Nintendo Switch: $299 + 7% sales tax (Florida)
Zelda: $51 (through Amazon)

So, around $380.

Neon Console - $300
Neon JoyCon L+R - $80
Pro Controller (if I can find one): $70
Screen Protector - $8
JoyCon Charging Dock - $30
JoyCon Charging Grip - $30
1-2-Switch - $50
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild CE - $100
Super Bomberman R - $50

Total: $718

Don't really see the point of buying more than is in the box, other than the carrying case I'll get with the Zelda SE that I can then use to make sure my backpack doesn't destroy the sticks

Switch: $299.99 + tax
Zelda SE: $79.99 + tax (GCU)

If the Zelda SE order I have falls through for some reason, game is $47.99

EDIT: Oh crap, I forgot I'm ordering all they Breath of the Wild amiibo too.

Zelda: $12.79
Link Archer: $12.79
Link Rider: $12.79
Bokoblin: $12.79
Guardian: $15.99

So, $447.13 plus tax I guess
