Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Thread: Everyone wants it, no one uses it

Nice about Rogue, but I already gave up on BC for that and bought it on Steam last year for peanuts. It's okay, a nice expansion for Black Flag and some ACIII style gameplay(Nothing terrible, unlike ACIII). It doesn't feel like a mainline entry though). Feels a little short on story mode

Well this is happening I guess

This makes me very happy. Been waiting for this to become BC and I will force me to finally get around to finishing it

Cool about Rogue, sucks I 100%ed it 2 months ago on my jet engine 360. But don't miss it if you haven't played it, game is awesome.

I get the impression that licensing means most racing games are unlikely.

This would be my most wanted game as well. That said, outside of the vehicle licensing (which is surely a problem on its own) the Blur license is also no longer with Activision. Some nobody company owns it now and released a horrendous Blur mobile title.

I seem to remember that initial reviews pegged the PS3 version as having a slight performance edge over the 360, I wonder if this'll counter that.

Must be. Since a lot of the titles we'd like to see as BC are up on PSnow

Just checked actually.

The only games PSnow doesn't have from Capcom that could also be BC on Xbox One are Remember Me and Dragons Dogma.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Code Veronica X HD, even the DMC HD Collection is on PSnow, along with a bunch more. All games that are absent from BC.

So at this point, I'm inclined to believe there's more to the story here as well.

Really hope its remasters/rereleases.

PRG3
PGR4
Ace Combat 6
Vanquish
Daytona
Ridge Racer 6
Ninja Gaiden 2
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
Hitman Blood Money
Crackdown
F.E.A.R
Forza 2
Lost Planet

Where Art Thou?. We need some more year 1 360 games!!!

I believe Activision still owns Blur but they licensed it out to that mobile publisher for that game specifically.

So I think it's still possible. Unlikely though I guess.

Virtua Tennis 4 was on 360 - haven't played it however. Virtua Tennis 3 is neat though as it's one of the few games on the system that outputs native 1080p and still looks pretty good today. I bought a copy of it in 2015 for that reason alone actually.

It's obvious that Capcom wants to be able to re-release RE4, Street Fighter Whatever for the 18475759607th time instead of just letting you play it in BC.

Ninja Gaiden II has to happen sooner or later, come on, it was one of the big exclusives of the 360 when it released and it's still amazing.
