My gaming is totally shagged this year as a result of BotW. I've got MM3D, Link Between Worlds and XCX all in the pipeline but this is going to take precedence.

On topic however I'm getting both, but keeping the Wii U copy wrapped as in 10 years it'll likely have gone up in value by a MASSIVE £50 or so

Keeping my wii u pre order, but will pick up the game again when the dlc2 pack drops for the switch. Planning on having a switch around launch, but the primary user of it doesn't play that type of game, nor really have the time.

Getting both. But Switch is day 1, Wii U copy is whenever for me. Planning to play it on Switch. Will play Wii U version for second playthrough (some day), at least if there are any differences.

Pre-ordered my Wii U copy today. I played it for 10 minutes on the switch and fell in love. The Switch will have to wait a bit longer though.

After seeing Xenoblade Chronicles X open world on Wii U, I'm confident the Wii U version will be great.

I've had the Wii U version pre-ordered for a while (thanks to E3 discounts at Amazon.ca).

I have zero interest in the Switch, or at least the version/price that's coming out in 2017. So definitely the Wii U version for me.

Its either grab it for my wii u for $60, or purchase a switch and BOTW for $360 plus tax.

If I knew the switch version was going to be better it would make my choice easier, but I have a feeling the wii u version is going to surprise people and perform really well.

Hopefully there will be comparisons before hand and it will make my choice easier.

If this is really the classic it's being hyped as I'd like to play it at its best. If I'm going to get a Switch for Mario Odyssey then I guess it won't be any cheaper by then... I can't get a Switch at launch at this point though so I guess I'll stick with my preorder. Oh geez.

100% fine with Wii U. Not buying a $400 CAN console for one game that I can get on a platform I already have.

I can't justify buying a Switch right now for one game. I'll get one later in the year once the library has built out a bit (and I've built my discretionary income back up again), but you can bet your ass I'm playing BotW on day one, so I'll be playing the Wii U version. There's also the fact that the entire reason I bought my Wind Waker edition U was for this game, and after all this time it would feel wrong not to give the system it's proper swan song.

Chances are I'll be picking it up a second time for the Switch at some point too.

I am definitely getting the Wii U version as won't be getting a Switch until later, but still pretty mortified that Nintendo are charging £50 for the version of the game on the old, dead console ffs.
