HAHAHAHAHA.

That's got to be Koholint Island in the bottom right corner, Tal Tal Peaks is a location in the data mine. I have to wonder if the Wind Fish is actually in this game.

I really want to like this game, but it looks so boring. The story also seems like your typical "bring peace to da lands" Zelda story I've played a hundred times over. I don't like it when I know exactly how the story will play out.

I think I've just grown out of these games. They seemed more interesting when I was younger. Oh well, I'm buying a Switch for Xenoblade 2 anyway.

Please no, do continue to be condescending.

Thought we were beyond the 'Nintendo makes kids games' nonsense with this at least.

Yeah, I barely made it to the last boss of skyward sword and didn't love my time with it for similar reasons. I'm pretty excited this time around with the new take on the adventure and world, though. The story definitely isn't why I show up, but Zelda can have a cool world.

I think you misread what they meant, the just meant that they thought these games were no longer really for them. All they meant.

Much more exciting.

Impa's voice acting sucks, tbh. Hoping the four Champions and Zelda sound better.

Damn, is this game just a really, really far off sequel to Zelda 1 and 2? LOL

Some Shiekah turned evil and formed the Yiga Clan. Perhaps those are the assassin enemies. It's also a reference to the Iga ninja clan from ancient Japan.

This guy playing the game is an absolute dumbass. He ignored Impa's entire backstory cutscene and then asked the viewers to recap it for him

Let me stop before it gets too spoiler heavy though

Sorry if this has been answered already, but is there any info yet about weapons that cannot break yet? Spotted that Hylian shield looking pretty sick, can it break?

Ta.

This is the route I'm taking when I start playing. Pretty much going to go see my bae and catch up with a wind fish yep totes happening.

It's been 10,100 years since the Imprisoning War, probably over 9000 years since Zelda 2. Marin is nothing more than bones in the ruins of Mabe Village.

Seems like it. Not that it's a bad thing.

It makes sense for Nintendo to push ahead with an all-out sequel to the OP timeline - something that moves the narrative into uncharted territory, instead of filling in the blanks between x, y, and z. Right now, the franchise is burdened with too many prequels/sidequels - some of which are also prequels to prequels - along with multiple branching paths, etc. Not to mention the Adult/Child timelines seem pretty well settled in their own way. There's definitely more to do with the Downfall era - especially post-Zelda 2.
