Wii U. Pretty much every typical fight at a camp plunges into the teens framerate wise.

I've noticed it really in forested area's. I wonder if they are still optimizing the game for a patch later, or this is the best they could do and used every ounce of the Wii U's power.

So after playing for like 2 hours, the games amazing. It feels so good playing it. I just finished the first shrine and im loving it.

it's so hard though!! I still can't take over the enemy camp outside the temple of time, the blue goblin guy with the spiked bat is so annoying.

Update: HAHA!! I just took out the camp. I dont know what happened, I tossed an arrow at a lamp in there and it blew everyone up. This game is sooooo good.

So jeah this is my first Zelda ever apart from briefly playing Wind Waker HD. Am I correct my level is just not high enough for the part of the game I am in? One hitters blue goblins tear me apart and everything.

Got 4 shrines and needed to seak out ampa... road to it is very hard

Or is this the hardest nintendo game ever?

blue goblins are hard hitters from the start
sadly for them,i fight like a dirty bastard and usually bomb the shit out of them

So some spoilers for those of you that haven't been out East yet shouldn't look at but I wanted to talk about... involves arrows and is after you meet an old-age character.

When you have to get the lightning arrows I didn't know that you are supposed to sneak around the centuar guy and I was wondering why it was so hard... I killed him though eventually. Took many deaths. It was probably the best fight in the game so far.

So far this is shaping up to be my favorite game of all time outside of docked mode FPS being absolute trash. They should be able to fix that because I can't stand playing the game with the joycons. Sticks are too small and don't really feel like sticks.

I read the old man's diary and I really want that doublet. Am I going to need to find raw meat and then get lucky by experimenting with all the ingredients I have?

Yes. Keep in mind that the diary lists two of the three ingredients and it gives you a hint towards the third.

also, don't do my same mistake, the recipe need those 3 ingredients and only them...if you add anything you get another dish

Also, this is 2017, we shouldn't have to have hard coded subtitles. I always turn them off and leave them off. Not hard to put an option in the menu to toggle off/on?

I'm beginning to think that the main reason I haven't had much trouble is because I have the digital version.

That doesn't make a difference in the performance of the game. Either you don't notice the frame drops, or you haven't been to the areas where they're really bad. Probably the former, some people just don't notice that kind of stuff.

Picked this up on Wii U and so far...wow!

I do have a quick question. I am in
Bosch Kala Shrine, the wind trial and there is a chest on the right which seems to be slightly out of reach.
I keep trying to glide over from all different angles, but no joy. Any help would be much appreciated.

An hour and 30 mins and I haven't left the temple of time yet. Exploring is great so far.

Questions:

1. can I check playtime apart from parental app

2. Is link a freaking reptile with his climbing abilities. (Don't want to spoil lore so a yes or no answer will suffice)

Edit: holy crap this game looks good on handheld. Amazingly good. On tv it looks kinda funny compared to PS4 games I've been playing. Still pretty though.

Anyone else found combat use for
stais
yet? I'm having fun experimenting, but haven't been able to figure that one out yet.
Apparently you can
upgrade stasis so that it can freeze enemies. I didn't have enough material to upgrade and test it though.

I'm beginning to think that the main reason I haven't had much trouble is because I have the digital version.
I'm hoping I'm just not sensitive to it, and i don't want to jinx it, but i have the digital version too, and even after hopping off the plateau, i haven't noticed heavy drops. I went the opposite direction of the story though, so I'll test a village when I get off work.

Picked up the Switch earlier today; excited to try this out after work. I'm a bit worried about all of the framerate issues I'm hearing about, though; it sounds like they're severe enough to hamper the experience, which is a shame, considering how good the game sounds otherwise.

So fun thing I found out, even if you left your horse in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, you can still have the stable guy go out and get it for you.

One unfortunate thing though that i found out, your horse will not fast travel with you if your on it.

Anyone on Wii U hearing their disc drive going crazy? It was during a cutscene in the beginning area
when you activate the shiekan tower for the first time.

I would not recommend selling guardian parts.

Just sell minerals you find. Diamonds are worth 500 a piece. There are plenty of other valuable ones as well.
duly noted
I need his theme. Someone post his theme.

100 rupees is chump change.

That reminded me, how are people like gilvasunner(the real one) will be able to take the music off the cartridges, it was already hard for him to try to get music off of Wiiu discs.

Can you dive in this game right off the bat? I assume you can sometime cause there is a chest underwater, but am I missing a button here?

You can pretty much do everything in the game with just the stuff you get from the Great Plateau. But if you want to know about that...

When you get the Magnet ability you can use it to bring the chest right to you. :)
