The flying fuck these stone mini-bosses have the fucking biggest range attack ever! I was like 1 mile away and that dude threw a stone right into my face😡
There's a senior one on the mountain north of the first tower towards the village. That guy is fucked up. I bolted straight past him.

Tbh, im seriously not feeling the damage some of these enemies do

It's not into ''hard'' territory, it's more like bullshit at this point

The combat in itself is not very fun ( mainly because the dodges are ass) and then you add in that the enemies can still hit you even with you dash properly (... because the dashes are ASSSS) and one shot you and it's really not fun at all. At one point a guardian even fucking sniped me mid-dash... are you shitting me?

Heck, right now im at a point where there are lizard shooting aoe electricity blasts that deal like 3 hearts a hit and the aoe is huge as fuck and you cant outrun it. Wtf? i only have 4 hearts too..

Is there a way to change the temperature to Celsius?

I feel like I've seen it that way in some of the videos/streams but I'm not seeing any options about that ingame.

Git gud.

Guardian lasers can be dodged if you dash at the last scecond.

Holy crap did i just see
Volvagia flying around

And if so when does it respawn, it appeared when it was raining heavily but a stupid mounted Boboklin shot me in the back before i could get to it and it was gone when i respawned.

So, in order to create a different save file, you have to make a separate Switch user? No multiple save files on a single Switch user?

That dodging feels clunky and unresponsive though. It barely feels like dodging when you've got the laser on you.

Ok so in the
magnesis trial shrine
there's a chest up there to the left
right before the end of the shrine
, how do I get it? Been trying to do stupid things with
plates and boxes
to no avail.
Hahaha I did the exact same thing. Spent easily over an hour in there trying different ways. Eventually I got it though!

Managed to
get up top and use the steel doors from the very start of the dungeon and the two blocks as counter weights to build a mini bridge to the chest and just jump the rest of the way.

Turns out you can just
use the magnetise ability to grab it down
but where's the fun in that lol?

If you read the diary
and can't find the missing ingredient, read it again after a while - he gives you another tip but it's still not super obvious, not essential either

I saw that too, it was mind-blowing, just before calling it a night.
I tried to reach him but he flew up into the skies. Not sure if it's Volvagia though, it looked friendly.

EDIT: I normally don't check spoiler-tags like yours, too risky, but somehow I knew exactly what it was going to be :P

Holy shit, I can't believe I missed that. Thanks!

I also had to ask here. The gamer never mentioned as of now. There is also a list of moves in the game under options. I have still one unknown left. Wonder what this could be.

Question (spoilers about the last part of the Plateau, only open if you already completed the Plateau):
after the King reveals himself and disappears, can you still try and give him the recipes? I was sure it was him but i didn't see that twist about him being dead coming, so i went to talk to him before getting the suit for cold wheather and possibly something else.

not really ''git gud'' when its more like ''dodge this perfectly or get one shot kiddo''

there's no ''flash'' indications when they're about to shoot, you just wait and when they fire pray that you dodge late because dodging early is useless and they will snipe you

melee enemies are fine, their movement are telegraphed enough... but these laser shooting fucks? lol

I just wish the dash was faster covered more range and didnt feel floaty as fuck. For all the comparisons to dark souls this combat is getting, I don't see it. Dark souls gameplay isn't enemies 1 shotting you because of crappy roll mechanisms...

Is there any way to turn off that "Skip (X)" message in the bottom right corner that appears during cutscenes? It bugs the heck outta me. It's like Nintendo WANTS me to skip them. Let me watch them in peace!

Completely caught me by surprise also, so many things to discover in this game.

The laser reticle changes a second or two before they fire.

There is absolutely a flash before they fire, the line disappears and there's a sound effect before they fire. There's more than enough cues to tell when they're going to fire.

It's completely fair. It's quite Brutal and a tight window which is unusual for a Nintendo game but it's fair.

Is it possible to change temperature display to celcius or is it like FFXV all over again where you're forced to use non-SI units when playing in English?

I skipped through the first Korok dialogue by mistake, did it tell where you need to turn in the reward or is just something you'll find naturally?

Found out if you put blue chu chu jelly in a fire it will make red chu chu jelly which will explode if you strike it after throwing it on an enemy.

The shrine with the buttons you press to tilt the stage to move the balls was pretty cool. I'm pretty sure I went through exactly what the developer wanted where I got to the end, noticed I could pick up the ball and then figured out how to get that chest. And the reward was worth it.

So it now seems i should exit the starting area but i keep having the feeling there is more to explore even though i've had every shrine here. But maybe a piece of armor or special weapon. I can always come back.

So far i have barely any complaints other than that a friend who also plays the entire game with Wii U Pro Controller told me he found a shrine where they force using the Gamepad on you....sigh. I don't like that kind of shit. And it wasn't exactly all that fun neither, so why not just keep it optional? I never like that kind of nonsense.

Anyway, does anyone know where to find that blue jacket?

I'm enjoying this so much. To be honest the first hour I wasn't feeling it, I knew almost everything about the Plateau beforehand and walking around was kinda boring. But once you get the Paraglider + a horse, my god it gets so good.

My biggest surprise are the NPCs, they are SO fun and full of personnality. Everyone has some kind of quirk to them, and it's such a joy to interact with them. Add to that the feeling of extreme cozyness that the villages have... My god this is so great, just jumping and climbing around a village, on the rooftops, the cliffs nearby tha tgives you a full perspective, it adds so much to these towns.

I'm not very far in the main quest, but already the game has thrown a lot at me (the Sheika Slate has a lot going on lol). This is gonna take a while, but I'm in love.

edit: I should mention the cooking, it's so intuitive and fun. Everything makes sense and goes together. I know how to make a spicy omelette before I even try, and sure enough it works. I put some rice and meat and a stamina mushroom and of course I get some meaty riceballs that increases my stamina... it feels endless.
