So, behindVillage...KakarikoI found the great fairy, and there looks to be something to place a shrine ball into but I have no clue where it is. Any hints?
If you're following the main quest that takes you to that village, you've already seen it.

The painter from Kakariko village? He helps you with these? Really?Am I just supposed to stumble upon the memory locations purely based on the photos? The painter helped with the first one but I can't get any info on any of the other ones.

I did about 5 of them from the photos themselves, 5 of them had hints (that I found) from the painter, and then after 20+ hours of not being able to figure out the other two while I explored the world I just gave up. And one of them (the forest) really is just bullshit. It could be anywhere, there's no hints at all.
One thing I'll say, and this applies to everything in the game, is that if you're like me you're been climbing and paragliding everywhere. But if you don't use the paths (take your horse) you'll miss a surprising amount of stuff like stables etc that have important info and side quests. One of the memories I didn't find myself I would have found easily had I just stuck to the paths in the middle of the map.
It's why the horse mechanics (both calling them to you and riding them) being so damn mediocre is one of my complaints with the game. I never used my horse, he sucked.

Also, he said something about a fairy fountain near the village. Where do I find it?
Holy shit how am I going to fight thatat Lakeflying dragonHylia

Oh..my....god
Nintendo are sneaky sons of bitches, you cant save in the lost forest and then use that to essentially save state where you were before you got lost and sent to the last checkpoint, and if you do , they will literally send you right outside the lost forests, those clever girls
For swimming it doesn't make sense to me because unless you're fighting the current you can IRL float in the water and catch a breather, even if not optimal.
For climbing though it makes perfect sense man, you're literally grabbing on to rocks using every muscle in your body not to fall lol
I'm "stuck" in a very weird way; I've been trekking with a horse I found on a mountain range and now I'm on a pretty sheer cliff along the ocean with no beach. I almost lost the horse (left it behind) when it fell into the water and it couldn't climb back up the cliff.
My predicament is that I've been through so much with this horse at this point, I just can't leave it behind. I almost did at one point when it was stuck on some geometry but when I started to leave, some how it swam around and climbed up on some lower rocks. Maybe it's because I have stabled it yet, but it won't listen to me whistling for it so it's hard to get it to follow me. I occasionally am able to lead it with apples but I'm about to run out and it doesn't care about apples when it's swimming.
I may be able to swim around these cliffs to a beach and get the horse to follow me but it's not very reliable.
It's crazy because I went on a crazy ride up a mountain I wasn't prepared for (too cold and dangerous) and as I tried to cut across to my destination, I was faced with steep, slippery, snowy cliffs I might not be able to climb back up and lots of apparent dead ends. Some how I was able to make it to the bottom of the mountains but now I'm at these oceanside cliffs and it seems like I might not be able to make it back with my horse companion.
Even if I have to leave my horse behind, what a crazy ride it's been.

I love the game so much. Some of the shrines are really fun.
I loved thetrial. At first I did something really stupid but then I figured it out lol.Shatter the Sky
Yes, after you help him with the great fairy, he will be at every stable you visit.
how many memories did you find prior to this
Change to a different bow. It's an effect of the bow you're using.A few questions:
1) Is there an hour counter somewhere?
2) Does each main area have a place to pray and use orbs?
3) I somehow got stuck in a zoomed in mode with my bow. Is there a way to get out of it?
Without spoiling anything, can I sell my opals and other stones or do I need them at some point for crafting?
