Whats the deal with the large flat rocks?
Oh I just ran into those durning my lunch break. I have a working assumption that it's an upgrade to the magnet rune, but I have another one that's more immediately testable with Stasis. Just didn't get to it before I had to clock in.

Using the camera to make your own bestiary is cool, but can you override the picture used with a better photo later on?

Disappointed there's no NPC bestiary, though.

You can.

If they had an NPC bestiary it would probably just be people taking various photos of Paya though.

Damn Naboris boss was tough. I had no clue what to do until I was given a "hint' by Urbosa.

Much closer quarter combat than Ruta boss, was just dodging poorly. Almost considering doing it again so I don't waste so many items.

The one with goodies underneath?
Try Statis them to send them flying away.

Game seems it wants too specific of an answer (placed a bomb under it think it would blow it off does nothing, tried droping on the edge thinking it would flip it off, nothing.)

Legit worried I'm not going to be good enough to beat the Devine beasts and I won't be able to progress the game. I always feel like this with games lol.

Dreading the elephant one.

Guys, Wii U version here. Can you have more than one save file!?? My daughter started her game, but I need to start my own. Somehow. Please. *fingers crossed*

You can get a supply drop from certain Amiibo once per calendar day. The supply drop contains a specific in game thing like fire arrows or rupees plus another big chest that contains a random cosmetic item like the OoT green tunic. You can use it once per calendar day (not in game day). if you have a lot of amiibo you can use every one of them once per day I believe (but I don't have any of them). It's paid cosmetic micro transactions that are included in a toy.

Not exactly. You get things like fire arrows OR clothing, but not both.

You'll be fine - just make sure you have arrows for the boss. If you have attack boosting food that'll help even more.

Bombs are inefficient when used with Statis. Stop in time first, then smash it with a heavy weapon, they'll fly away.

Just create a new profile. Click the Mii icon your WiiU home screen. Switch users. Boom, separate save files.

Do you have access to the quest where you have to find the spy/thief? I don't play the game in English, not sure for the name. The orb will be available after completing this one.
Hmm I don't. Do you know when you got it and who the quest giver is by any chance?

Fuck, did I mess up selling all my ancient parts? >_<
No, there's an area where you'll find tons in a matter of minutes.

This game is just beginning to unravel and I'm already completely lost in it. The amount of items and weapons, all the different locations and weapons, and things like weather, mix everything up so well that it really does feel like you're doing things that nobody else has done.

Is there a camera in this to take photos and selfies like Wind Waker?

I'm up to the first village. No spoilers, but will I just come across it through normal playing or am I supposed to do something special?

Also, will you be able to use enemy parts for crafting weapons and armour at some point in the game? Or is that stuff just used to sell for money and cooking?

Again no spoilers please. Just say "no" or "keep playing"

Thanks

I don't think it's a spoiler but I'm being extra careful. This has something to do with weird little things found in the overworld.

Anyone figured out the pinwheels yet?

This isn't a spoiler is it? The answer might be...

dont you get the camera at the start? Right joystick button...

Keep playing for the rest.

There aren't really spoilers in my answer but I always like to be extra careful

Feeding fish doesn't surprise me...I think you can lure enemies with food but I haven't tested it.

Wonder if you hook that balloon item to meat and let it float, will enemies follow it?

So a (Shrine Quest spoilers)
Zora kid just told me to "pierce the pedestal" by the
Veiled Falls.
Any ideas?

Keep following the main quest.

And yeah that's what I've heard.

Lol, I was fighting in a place where it was really hot, and accidentally ate food that overrode my final fire protection food ability. Had to run to town whiling eating food every 2 seconds to buy fire protection elixirs. A good tip is that talking to NPCs resets your burn meter

You didn't get a chest? Ingredients is normal, but you should also be getting a chest each day.

No such thing. Every day I get different things with my BOTW amiibo. Got a 40 rated shield yesterday with Zelda

It is random what you get. However, you can use it daily to keep getting items. THere is a whole list of stuff the amiibo's net you including armor sets and
Epona.
I got the chest, but I didn't get a shield. Is that random as well?

Fucking stealth sections can suck my ass. Stop putting stealth in non stealth games eugh.

I don't think there's any forced stealth. But stealth can be a better option than a 5 minute fight and using a few high quality attack/defense upgrade meals to get past some rough enemies.
