In regard to the Amiibos - how random is it that they give you clothing?
What is the percentage chance?

dont you get the camera at the start? Right joystick button...
Keep playing for the rest.
There aren't really spoilers in my answer but I always like to be extra careful
I thought you click in the right srick for the scope, I didn't know you could actually take photos from that?!

lttp was good for itz tiem but botw is 11/10 grteatest game ofa ll time
Nah that's not right. The camera is a rune ability for your slate, like bombs.
I got the chest, but I didn't get a shield. It was given me the stuff for Toon Zelda, not BotW Zelda. Oh well lol.

Dude you are mad salty in all these botw threads, chill out. Even if this isn't your favorite Zelda, for a lot of us this is quickly becoming one of our favorites. No one is saying the game is perfect but that doesn't mean we can't praise the shit out of it either.
Oh, I've never gotten that rune. Will you get it through just playing the main quest? Maybe I'm just too early.

Hmm I don't. Do you know when you got it and who the quest giver is by any chance?
Ok I need answers to a few questions. Can I cook at a fire I build myself? I keep having to find a pot then build my own fire next to it and light the pot with a torch. It feels like I'm doing it wrong.
Is there a fishing rod or do I just shoot them with arrows?
Can anyone tell me if you can keep playing once you finish the main story?
I can confirm you need 441 korok seeds out of the 900 possible ones to purchase everything

900? I have like 19. Crazy.
... Seriously this game feeds my Xenoblade desire so much. It's amazing how similar this game is. If you've never played Xenoblade X, I recommend it to everyone after finishing this game. There are things I like about XBX more and things you can tell Monolith learned and applied to this game.
Using the camera to make your own bestiary is cool, but can you override the picture used with a better photo later on?
Disappointed there's no NPC bestiary, though.
900? Holy shit. Put this on the list of games I'll never 100%.

No. You can't.Can anyone tell me if you can keep playing once you finish the main story?
This is the best Xenoblade Chronicles game since XBX.

I gave this comment some intense side-eye.
Pretty much the only thing that's similar between the two is the very well-designed topography.
But do you get anything for getting all the Korok seeds?
Wow. I thought XCX was a pretty bad open world game in a lot of ways, but going from Zelda to XCX would be pure torture.
All of the things Zelda gets right, XCX gets wrong. From game feel and control, to combat, to endless wordy crap narrative, to the fact that you end up being able to fly, trivialising the level / world design, to abrasive music all the time...
Literally the only places XCX is better is in the visuals and maybe voice acting department.
I recommend playing with headphones.

Xenoblade and this both have the issue that the main plot pales in comparison to the 'side' content.Wow. I thought XCX was a pretty bad open world game in a lot of ways, but going from Zelda to XCX would be pure torture.

Yeah, for real. And like I said XCX takes its amazing topography and throws it out the window 30 hours in with the game-breaking flight mod. After which it becomes a fast-travel fetch quest simulator.
Been going at it alone, but I seem to be stuck so I'll ask:
Death Mountain:Tring to get to the beast and made it to where the signs say its entry #8 next to a shrine. There is a large gap of lava that I can't pass and a canon where you put bombs in but does nothing, even after hitting the switch to move it. What am I supposed to do? I ask because of the signs I only saw #8 and #2. Am I actually supposed to go up the mountain a certain way through the numbers instead? I haven't met any Gorons on Death Mountain yet. i feel like I skipped a part.
