Well, just finished all of the shrines. Amazingly, the very last side quest I did and the last shrine were both my favorite in the game. How about that.

Fun game, 8/10. I'll probably play it again when it's inevitably released on Switch 2 at 1080p with no framerate issues. DLC should be fun, too!

What quest/shrine was it?

Definitely need to dye my Gerudo clothes, the stock colors are terrible and the other set the merchant sells isn't any better.

Wow, Thunderblight is just straight up Dark Souls bullshit. First time I felt like throwing the Switch against the wall.

Pretty sure I had an almost identical post a week or two ago. Insane difficulty spike for me. If you want some tips let me know.

I did it without parrying because i suck at parrying. And without stasis because I never think to use it on bad guys

Are there more cold-resistant clothes other than the warm doublet? If so, could someone give me cryptic puzzle hints so I feel some sense of minor accomplishment finding them?

Game has a habit of popping into my mind even when I'm not playing it.

"I guess I oughta finish this report before the end of day... oh yeah, I forgot to go back and explore that swampy area I saw earlier... fuck it, this report is just gonna have to wait til Monday..."

Holy fuck this lynel with a club hits so fucking hard. Even the AoE he makes when striking the ground takes so many hearts. 44 def is nothing to this guy.

Still fresh on this game and trying to enjoy the exploration aspects, but I've had a lot of difficulty trying to use the Shrine Sensor to find hidden shrines. I've found myself dropping everything to throw bombs all about the moment I have full signal with a nearby shrine and it's getting old. Any advice?

I feel like the extra 4 defense and seeing enemy HP is not worth losing the set bonus.

the set bonus on any of the green tunic sets is useless as hell anyway so i didnt mind loosing master sword beam up but i do normally walk around with a full green tunic set so it all matches.

The sensor isn't necessarily telling you when you're close, it's telling you you're going in the right direction. If it's full blast just keep going in that direction

Hah, I found him to be the hardest enemy in the game. Just constant cursing from me as I found it impossible to perfect dodge anything he did and always got caught by an AoE of some sort. I really loved killing that jerk, and even more loved picking up his big stupid club and seeing how much damage it does.

Just beat it. What a ride, man. 70+ hours and adored every bit of it.

Excellent, excellent game.

I'm 80+ hours in and I'm nowhere near finished, I explore too much 😟

The white one fucking owned me, and I thought the red and blue one were hard at first.

The lynel with a club is the hardest not only because it hits hard but because it has less openings than the other two. Perfect parry is the most valuable tool against it, if you're not cheesing the fight.

actually i thought it was the intended solution..i mean you have an extremely fast opponent..that solution seems natural.

I beat him without Stasis, wasn't that hard. First stage's slash is easy to dodge once you get the timing of the zigzag down, and he always slashes horizontally so you can't mess up the dodge by doing it in the wrong direction. Second stage, well,
the spikes he sets down are metallic and he is actually vulnerable to lightning
... :) Like always, one of the best things about the game is the many ways you can face a problem.

Beating him with Stasis can't be the "intended" or "default" solution as the stasis upgrade is optional and there is no reason for the game to assume you have it by then (I didn't).

So I just rode a log all the way from the top of Hebra Falls to bottom of Hebra Plunge.

While I was riding I nabbed some chests from the water with magnesis and placed them on some ice columns for opening, then paraglided back to the log before it drifting too far away with the current. I'm 60 hours in and this game is still blowing my mind.

didn't know you can't block enemies with normal stasys

Theres a zora in ZD that wants to
officiate a wedding. Is that a quest? Is there a couple out there that I can introduce him to? I thought itd be that funny Gerudo Hylian couple at lovers pond but didnt seem like it.

Anyone want to point me in the right direction?

Have you seen the expensive quest line (costing $3000) in hateno village?

There is a quest related to this. The quest starts in
Hateno, though it doesn't end there.
You will know when it's time to talk to that zora again.

I did the labyrinth this evening. Felt like I was in there for days. The solution was in the last place I looked, but on the bright side I'm pretty sure I found everything, including the
basement at the bottom of the wind column with the guardians
.

Good place for getting white chuchu jelly?

Three options:

- the icy areas like the Hebra mountains where white chuchu randomly spawn.

- kill a regular chuchu with an ice arrow or ice-imbued weapon.

- drop regular chuchu jellies to icy rivers.

There's a fourth option, where shooting ice arrows or using ice weapons at your regular chuchu jellies convert them I to white. The problem is it can sometimes destroy the jelly on hit, so it's a bit tricky to do.

I can't find any Electric Keese to save my life. Anyone know a specific place for them?

There's a short tunnel near Zora Domain that has a lot of Electric Keeses hanging on the ceiling. They also spawn randomly in Gerudo I believe.

No :)

But you can trade stamina for hearts somewhere and then trade them back if you wish.

The master sword...does the energy
renew if you don't use it for a while? Or does it only recover after breaking?

I've got a feeling it's the latter, which is a bit lame.

latter and I agree
but I am certain they gave this a good thought, if it would permanently regenerate it would probably break the durability system too much

I have now played this game for around 30 hours and I haven't done a single dungeon, only around 10 shrines, and almost none of the story at all. How is this even possible? I love this so much.

Been real busy, but I've been playing off and on as much as I can. Have 9 hearts and I've managed to open up more of the map! The exploration and discovery never gets old! Today, I stumbled across the
Lost Woods/Korok Forest, Great Deku Tree and the Master Sword!
I'm taking my time with the game and I'm okay with that.

By the time you get it you will be facing enemies that you will break your sword on in one fight easily.
So it's mostly good for not wasting weapons you like on random encounters but still using a cool one, it would have saved you the effort of having too many extra weapons that you don't mind wasting on you always and would have made it really rewarding after putting up with losing a lot of nice weapons up until that point.

As it is, it's sort of that but also kinda meh without being able to recover after shitty fights so you feel like you shouldn't use it that much and if you do, make sure to break it.

wow what a great game. i hope they shake things up more in the next Zelda game.

i hope they make the next Zelda game, the Legend of Link, where Link becomes consumed by the triforce of Power, and Zelda has to rescue Ganon to stop Link

Is it just me or
the Master Sword seems to have infinite durability on dungeons? It never breaks despite heavy use inside dungeons.

Freaking Yiga Clan jerks were attacking me while I was near a Shrine. I didn't even bother fighting them. I ran straight for the shrine. Lol

And I suck at catching fairies. They run so fast.
