2 hours? Find a grass field and do spin attacks.Boy, this sidequest for Manny in Hateno is so not worth it. Spent over 2 hours trying to get crickets for a measly 100 rupees and you don't even get to see the aftermath.

That's fair, it seems like there's less honey than diamonds in all of Hyrule.
But for the Electric Rhino Beetles, check around North Akkala. They tend to pop up in chains, so you can grab one and then the sensor will pick out another and another and another. I got 9 in a row, once.

How many did you need?

Hell, I already had 20 of them when he asked x_x
I really want to do the Tarrey Town quest but I can't find a Goron with a name that ends in -son, lol. No one tell me where to find them, I'll figure it out eventually.

Why does it rain all the time? Everywhere. All the time.
I said don't tell me!Amusingly I think the very first Goron I spoke to on Death Mountain was the one that was part of that sidequest.
Wolves are asking for it. If they knew what was good for them they'd leave me alone.Whoa, that's really good to know. I don't kill wildlife much because I feel like an asshole, but that's gonna change now, haha.
2). Do we know how much HP one heart is yet?
Jesus the upgrade path for the Shrine reward is insane. I wanted to max it out before taking on the final boss but I feel like it would add another 10+ hours to my play time and I'm itching to finish the story. ):
Especially since shit like Star Fragments are totally random. Blergh.
Regarding falling stars...
Occasionally I will hear a wooshing sound when exploring the world. It's a swift shwoosh noise. Is this the sound of a shooting star overhead?
There have been several times where I've heard that sound and immediately run for high ground to take a look, but I've never seen anything. But there have also been times where I have seen the shooting star and never found the pillar of light indicating where it's landed.
How'd you figure that out?Pretty sure 1/4 heart=1 hp, so 1 heart=4 hp.
I dun goofedSome great expressions while cooking "bad" food too, especially that first moment when Link realizes something went terribly wrong

How'd you figure that out?
I was gonna wear no armor and know the attack power of an enemy weapon and see how much damage it took. Figures I could extrapolate that way.
Running around in the region north of Central Hyrule, Thunderstorm starts.
I see a new type of Lynel in the distance. White-Maned Lynel.
He's dodging the Thunderbolts that his gear is attracting =\
But man, what a battle. I only have 6 hearts (and 2 and 1/5 Stamina Wheel) and it took some time to figure out the AI (I had no fairies and he one shots me, regardless of what armour/defence pots I take) so I could do a no damage run. Got rewarded with some bigass 2H mace that has like 70+ attack, far better than the 20-30 damage swords I've been using so far.
Really did feel like Dark Souls because of all the parrying (as far as I know, Flurry Rush doesn't work on his attacks, never got slowdown ever).
I tried using Wolf Link but he was completely useless. One attack took off 19 of 20 hearts from Wolf Link. Poor thing never stood a chance.
God I love this game.
Man, I really need to learn how to parry and dodge correctly. I always just run out of the way. It's so hard for me to get in the habit of doing the timing based stuff.Running around in the region north of Central Hyrule, Thunderstorm starts.

He goes to Korok Forest.
Speaking of which, the whole Lost Woods / Korok Forest area has been amazing.
Where might that be? Lol.
Is there any reason to not use the shrine orbs to trade for hearts or stamina in the statues?
It's more awesome if you find it on your own
Look for a huge cherry blossom tree you can spot from a high mountain

Yesss. You walk in and then BOOMHe goes to Korok Forest.

Just hit 100 hours, no beasts done, still need to climb two more towers. After I unlock them, I'm just going to hunt shrines as I'm saving the story for when I get a switch next month. The game is really just fun to walk around in, I've never felt like doing this in a game before. I only use fast travel when I'm about to head into a new region so I zip back to other places to get supplies.I'm adoring the game, but I don't get how people can have 75+ hours into the game with relatively few shrines and divine beasts. Are they just walking around doing nothing? Focusing on korok seeds? I've spent a good 30+ hours but I'm always sure to have some sort of objective and momentum to carry me through the game. I've done 2 beasts, 70 shrines, almost done with the photo memories, just a couple towers left to climb, tons of sidequests, got the master sword, etc. Feels like I'm burning through the game too quickly when people talk about spending so much time without any significant plot progress (then again I have to, hope to have this finished by the time Persona 5 comes out)
And I do take my time; walk or ride my horse to most places, take in the vistas, talk to people to see alternate dialog (one of my favorite things in the game is how context-aware so much of the dialog with NPCs is), not used guides for anything other than a couple puzzles... I guess it's just my playstyle that demands I have some objective to keep me entertained through the game. I kind of see it as a TV show with "arcs" so I always am going towards some objective, be it a divine beast, doing what you do at the springs of ____, etc.

Flurry rush definitely works on all Lynels, you just need to get the timing down.
That's good to know. I got it locked in a silly loop of Stasis+ > Arrow Headshot > Mount > Free 5 hits.
It felt so good.
Appropriate howI love how the names of the Korok area are tributes to the Kokiri from Ocarina.
Flurry rush is harder to pull off against the mace wielding lynels because the hitbox is ginormous and the timing is more strict.
l thought it was a letdown. There's this huge mysterious place in front of you that makes you want to explore it extensively and at the end the way it's structured means it's an addition of linear challenges and uninteresting micro areas. lt also has the worst gameplay scenario in the entire game with the Korok stealth mission. Finally the way you stumble across thefelt very underwhelming to me, it actually reminded me of AlttP, l thought it was a fake and that the real one was further ahead.master sword
l'd say it's my second most disappointing area in the game after Gerudo Highlands.
Worth upgrading the Diamond Circlet? Might just save up for the ancient headpiece instead, using diamonds to upgrade makes me :|
You don't get the set bonus with the diamond circlet so there is basically no reason to use it at all. Just get the helmet.

I use the diamond circlet cuz the helmet looks stupid.
