'its getting worse?'

i wish he would back this up with facts.

he means it will get worse when his HHS Price finishes gutting it

the ridiculous thing about all this is that Republicans would have no problem passing common sense fixes to the ACA which would actually help people

Sooooooo...let me get this straight:

1) Democrats plan ACA. Would be a pretty decent system.
2) Republicans work against ACA as much as possible, dismantle it, make it a shell of what it's supposed to be so they can say it was bad all along and easily repeal it when they get into power.
3) Repulicans get into power.
4) Republicans present AHCA. Everyone hates it, including most republicans.
5) Republicans decide not to vote on AHCA, keep ACA in place for "foreseeable future", the system THEY THEMSELVES sabotaged so it could be easily repealed when they got into power.

It keeps his base happy. They're probably going to eat that shit up.

I don't know about that. Most of what you're hearing on talk radio is how the party screwed the pooch putting forward a crappy bill after having more than enough time to get something together.

YOU CAN'T IMPLODE AND EXPLODE YOU DUMBASS

Of course. Trump just showed the Republican leadership that their most Republican ideas suck. Now there's cover to go left, and it'll seem acceptable to some Democrats because it's not nearly as right wing terrible as the first proposal.

Uh, except this bill failed because it wasn't right enough. What one earth are you talking about?

You fuckstain, you couldn't get your own party behind it why would you assume you could get Dem's behind it. That would mean compromising with them which would have cost you more Rep votes.

gotta appreciate when they're this honest about actively wishing harm on americans for your agenda

Oh no doubt. I guarantee you there was an assload of cursing coming out of Bannon's office.

yet another silver lining

Trump, moments ago: "I think the losers are Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer."

Just according to keikaku

Imploding/exploding line is top-tier.

I honestly can't tell anymore if Trump is just delusional or a bad liar or both. All I know is his approval ratings are going to be in the 20s by this time next week. This is an unprecedented show of incompetence.

It's a bit of both. I think Donald is a narcissist. At the same time he keeps nothing but yes men around him. At the same time he is a huge ass liar. If you hear a truth come out of his mouth run cause it's the end of the world.

And will continue to sabotage it, so they can point to it and say see we told you so; we should have voted a few years ago.

Hahaha 'I never said when I was going to repeal and replace'.

Nope! Never once mentioned it was a part of his day 1 agenda. Not once.

I dont understand why? The law is still in major danger, feels more to me like the first hill on a roller coaster. Still a ton more to go, just potentially a small break before you start feeling like your going to throw up again.

But it's actually not. Everyone is now saying that they're not touching health care this congress, which means Obamacare is safe until 2018. If the Dems retake either House, then it's safe for the foreseeable future.

The thing is that there are enough No votes from moderate Rs that they can't pass a straight repeal.

Uh, except this bill failed because it wasn't right enough. What one earth are you talking about?

It failed because pretty much nobody at any point in the political spectrum liked it. They could've moved it further right and got the freedom caucuss onboard, but then they'd lose moderate republicans and the senate vote. It was both too rightwing for some and not rightwing enough for others simultaneously

The man is constitutionally incapable of accepting even the slightest glimmer of blame for anything. Saying it was the oppo party is the cleanest his hands can get on this.

He put the blame for the death of a Navy Seal on one of his Generals and used the mother for a cheap pop.

He got applauded for the move across the board.

Funny thing about Trump blaming dems is if he doesn't start coming after FC people and soon not only will he have completely lost the game of chicken against them but also failed to follow through on any of the threats he's been dishing out the past week

Nobody is ever going to be intimidated by this guy anymore

bleh

"I think this was a good bill and it will be even better next time, and it won't be that long before it is here."

here's hoping like with most things he is wrong.

any blow back against the Republicans is a good one. It makes them look like lame ducks in Congress, and makes more people regret voting Trump.

Called it. He's been leading up to this with slight tells for awhile now, like at his address calling out left wing and then calling for both parties to work on healthcare. He was looking for fodder to shift blame when things went down. To sane people paying attention they will know dems have nothing to do with this but this new public that voted in Trump and his lies are a different matter, i'm worried they will believe this shit.

That is also true, which makes Rentahamster's comment that this was master negotiation even more ridiculous.

Republican voters can now keep their health care and blame Democrats at the same time. It makes no sense but who cares.

It just shows how dumb they are that they keep voting Republican.

It will be at least a year, when the next budget comes up, and Trump will have even less political capital by then

unless they want to pass bipartisan fixes of course (lol)
