dude ive hit the mid 40s and I feel the same heh. I only have 2 maps left to uncover too, and Ive actually done a lot of shrine quests (at least 10). I havent really been looking for them tbh, Ive only been doing the ones easily spotted from towers and whatnot (and the quest ones like I said)
in fact, thats a good point. Most people mention that the "normal" amount of seeds you have by the time you finish, in general, is around 100-130. How many shrines does the general consensus seem to be for a "normal run" on most people?
there is a big stone door in front of me. magnesis doesnt work nor does stasis on it. Just up from it is a little gap with water in it and further up are 2 large snowballs. I was thinking I had to uses cryonis on the pond to make a pathway for the snow balls to roll down and maybe knock the doors open?
Also looking for Leviathon in Hebra, was thinking maybe in same location as above?

fought my first lynel... at 3 hearts. It took me an hour and a half, but I did it. Looking up videos now, didn't know you could use stasis on him lmao. I killed him old bayonetta style.
It juts popped on my mind yesterday; now that Breath of the Wild is released, we have no idea what will happen in the world of Zelda next. It has been a while since we didn't know anything about the upcoming Zelda-projects. It was maybe 2012, after Skyward Sword, and before the reveal of Wind Waker HD in January 2013 that no Zelda news was released. Wonder if they gave something outside of BotW DLC info at E3.
This isn't true? We know there is Cave of Trials and Hard Mode coming in Summer, and a new story dungeon coming by the end of the year. The idea that there's no new Zelda content to look forward to simply isn't the case.
still slowly making my way through the game and played the, let's call it Song of Storms sidequest. I think the whole experience of going there, starting to hear the music and doing what's necessary might have been my favourite part of the game so far.
Such a small thing, but so satisfying.
So, who else is hoping for a prosperous, full map Lorule as DLC?
still haven't got to kakariko village. i know where to go cause someone at the stable told me. i just keep getting distracted. there were a couple guys inside the tent who were talking about treasure. i gave them 100 rupees and they gave me a hint where to look. pretty easy to find. had to wait for the rain to stop before i could climb so explored the forest area. got killed by a bear. the treasure was some materials and a cool fire sword. it was a lvl 24. i used it on the stalnox nearby.
did a few more shrines. one beside the stable was surrounded by a barrier so i climbed up the mountain thing as far as i could while leaving a bit of stamina for the paraglider and jumped off. i think this was the first gyro shrine. really cool. maybe it was the previous or next shrine. can't mind.
on my way back to the stable i finally got a horse! maybe now i'll head to kakariko.
Ok so I think I've done like 5 or 6 motion controlled shrines and got pretty much all of them on my first try, controls were super responsive and realistic (so much better than the Wii waggle) and they were actually pretty fun to solve!
Either you're playing on a Super Switch or my game is defective. I love motion control puzzles and Skyward Sword is my favorite Zelda, BotW's motion control segments have a clear and easily replicable drift. The ball-in-a-maze shrine made it especially obvious. After just a few movements the maze would be out of place relative to its starting position. Exiting the mechanism and entering it again would "snap" it back into place.
It wasn't much of a problem outside of that shrine because other motion puzzles were simpler, but it never felt great.
failed the korok following quest twice and have no desire to do it again :|
once because he randomly runs backwards without warning, the second because he asks you to help him when theres a wolf, but then sees you and fails you which at that point I thought he just knew you were there.
It doesnt help that I can barely see shit through the fog, framerate and lower resolution (wiiu, not sure if this was fine on switch)
Can you imagine people giving up on it because they are so used to content being locked behind DLCs? Might not be the case here, but still a funny thought. 😂
I'm on my way to see some sort of scientist but having a real hard time trying to get there, i'm running trough some sort a valley and it starts that blood moon mechanic for the first time.
Should i go do some shrines first or what's up? i only have like 1 extra hearth atm

I found the controls really wonky and unresponsive in the motion shrines using the switch handheld, I think mine genuinely might have a fault, it was impossible to even roll the ball straight
This is my favorite outfit in the game. Everything about the Hylian set is dope. The sand boots however takes the outfit to another level. Looks adventurous af.
help me, im all alone and lost in some godforsaken snowy mountains, im scared.
So im trying to get the last bit of the map (and last tower I presume), in the region above
Gerudo
, southwest-ish of the map,and its another one of those "this videogame isnt like other videogame" moments so far.
Im not exactly sure how you get there "properly" (I havent been to
Gerudo
yet except to get the tower) so I just climbed the huge rock wall coming from the
Hyrule Ridge
side. Eventually I found a huge updraft that helped with the climb, which took me to a
huge eye on the mountain wall
, I have no idea whats that about. So I continued upwards, trying to get as high as possible to get a good vantage point and some bearing (like one would do if one was an adventurer out in the world I guess), eventually it started to get snowy so I put my proper gear on and carried on.
Miles and miles of white around me, Im still trying to get high up to see...something, when I spot what looks like a
giant stone sword
, so I of course go there, and nearby is the HARDEST FUCKING LYNEL EVER CREATED HOLY SHIT. Im not even sure that fight was worth it for the rewards (they are "savage" version of the weapons they usually drop, I mean they are good but I wasted so many weapons and food and fairies lol, im so bad at this game, and I guess there was his innards also for upgrades) and now im still all alone and lost and desperate after that.

Several NPCs mention it while you do the Divine Beast quests in mandatory dialogue, and I've seen a couple of NPCs at stables who mention it as well (amusingly, they don't have new dialogue once you actually have it) but I don't think they're much more specific with the hints than guiding you towards
Decided to explore Hyrule Castle for some sidequests and
the last memory
, but had so much fun I kept going and after hours of fighting I had wasted so much of my inventory I thought I might as well go all the way and challenge Ganon to make it worth the effort. That was an incredible experience all around !

So it's supposed to happen after the Divine Beasts? Because I've been avoiding them while exploring the world but a wee bit into
the Ruta quest
and so far no mention of it. An NPC at a stable did give me a quest to show up with it. And I kinda know where it is but I would like to know how it fits in the story.
