the only reason that no discs works on PC is because of competition. On console, since there is only 1 store on each system, the prices would soar up

Hell no. Digital pricing is still insane for older titles. I can walk into Gamestop and pick up an older title for $15 used that would still be full price on PSN. Not to mention I like trading in my games. I only get digital if there is no other option on consoles.
On PC, I've been digital only for a while now. But, digital prices actually drop as they should also.
Nah. Never honestly. I am old school. I admit it. I like being able to say to my friends or family "borrow it for a bit I am curious what you think."
That is just not possible with the current digital distribution methods. At least not without sharing my login with people which I am not down with.
Same. If there were two models of a PS4 Pro refresh and one was hypothetically $50 cheaper with no disc drive, that's the one I'd buy.Literally have never put a disc in my PS4, so sure.
No thanks.
If they want they can put additional DRM on physical media like one disc usable on only 3 console activations I'll be cool with that.
Better get used to PC then because whether you like it or not, an all digital future is fast approaching.

.I'm cool with a disc free option as long as it's sold alongside an option with one, but the answer will always remain a resounding no if it's the only option.
In five years, no one will give a shit about Blu Ray. Not even Sony.
PSP go failed because it lacked a UMD

It's 2017 people, get with the times.
Ya'll still buy physical CD's too?
