The Direct with have a segment called "Trilogy Traffic" where they announced Mother Trilogy, Dark Souls Trilogy and Bayonetta Trilogy.
There might be announcements regarding the systems online infrastructure, new features etc.

Predictions:
- Start with ARMS. Gets a 10 minute segment with new characters/weapons. Talks about the features of local/online multiplayer a bit more in depth. Releases in late May/early June. Maybe a demo available Thursday?
- Following that, a few minutes for talking about the Switch's general online features. Mostly regarding expansion of online services as well as the smartphone app.
- Next is Splatoon 2 for another 10 minutes. More weapons and modes detailed. For modes, Splat Zones returns along with 1 new mode at launch. Additional mode(s) to be released as a free update. Improved online funcitonality detailed, as well as how it's linked to the new smartphone app. Release sometime between early July and mid August.
- Small sizzle reel for games like USF2, Disgaea 5, and indie titles.
- After that, 3DS games. Fire Emblem Echoes, Pikmin 3DS, and Ever Oasis are each talked about briefly, with the latter two getting release dates. Maybe they squeeze in Lady Layton or Detective Pikachu?
- Last is a small surprise. My guess is either the launch of Virtual Console or a small eShop game for Switch, in the vein of Boxboy or Pushmo/Crashmo. Not expecting much of a surprise though.

Well here comes the leaks!
This is a direct 2 months before E3. Expectations are low and not crazy hype because we know not to expect anything big. Wait for the E3 Nintendo topic. That will be huge.

Well the announcement of the direct pretty much told us to have low expectations. People get hyped over the potential of seeing new stuff, not release dates for games we already know about.
