Was ORAS announced in a Nintendo Direct? If so then yeah it could be here I guess. TBH I would expect it to be announced next week in a Pokémon Direct.

Best case scenario they would just give out MK8D downloads no? It's nothing like the 3DS situation where it got like a $80 price cut within 6 months.

Wut. That would be hella baffling. If true, it could mean we are looking at an absolutely massive restock around the MK8D launch.
Wonder what the price will be. If it's $350, then it would probably be a good move too, basically mandating people to some extent to get MK8D along with their Switch.

The thing that's throwing me off is that the game case is just flat up against the box design. Wouldn't the design just be included on the overall box? Or at least have some 3D depth or something?

If this is real it wouldn't surprise me. Nintendo is seriously not playing around. They really want to make sure the Switch takes off and keep very strong momentum.
But yeah it does look fake to me.

Is there a clean render of Rainbow Road without the characters? If not then it's probably real.
We will certainly get vc but probably not yet.
There are also those pics of the neon joycon on the side despite being the grey pack. Fake as hell and even a bad one lol

That's the Neogaf thread when it was announced. It was totally out of the blue - no direct, not at E3, just a video and a press release. One of the most common responses in that thread outside of "MEGATON" and "OUT OF NOWHERE!" was "they didn't even wait till E3!"
Stuff like that is why we can't really say with any degree of certainty what is going to be shown this evening apart from Splatoon 2 and Arms. It could be absolutely nothing, it could be something big.

On the counter side for #TeamReal, this apparently comes from the Russian site, all PAL versions of Breath of the Wild didn't have an age rating on the cover if they part of the Limited Edition. This might be the case for all Switch bundles.
No PEGI rating on the box, same as this Mario Kart 8 bundle.
