Not saying this one is true, because there's reasons for and against it obviously, but I wouldn't be surprised if one of the leaks of the direct on 4chan ends up being true.

I think it's fake, there's no mention of things that were announced after that date like NBA Playgrounds and Mr. Shifty.

Nintendo putting GBA Virtual Console games and more Wii U ports on the 3DS while the Switch just sits is just dumb enough to be true.

I'd kill for a new WarioWare though. Please, Nintendo.
 
That list seems just unexciting enough and 3DS heavy to be true.

Id the announcement of a port is a big E3 thing, it just makes the switch a even harder sell for alot of us 3ds+wii u owners that has yet to jump onboard.

Back in the day, Sakurai retweeting an upcoming Direct was confirmation that there would be Smash related news there.

Thanks for sharing. This bit seems off if I'm understanding it correctly though:

It then says releases in July, implying including this bit. But, per the DLC PR, the new dungeon (singular) is part of the Holiday-releasing DLC Pack 2.
 
Assuming both 4Chan leaks are fake, we're faced with a big question. Do we prefer "leaks" that take a blurry screenshot of some named folders, or ones that just have text and a bunch of random details?

Yeah... That part seems to be the first first red flag. Though if we're pretending that anything is possible, it could be that they decided to add that to DLC pack 1 and do something different for pack 2.

Yeah that sounds fake. What they're describing is Pack 2.
 
I was thinking I'd be glad to get Kirby ATRC on 3DS but then realized on Wii U I only play it in Off-TV Play anyway since I can't draw the lines and watch the big screen. And it would probably be best performing on N3DS which I don't have.

Only thing that could make it legit is if they meant only the first part is June. But yeah I agree.

Then again, it's my first Nintendo Direct so I'm not sure if they tend to talk about more things aside from those announced? Anyone?

As others have said the weird-sounding things often end up being likelier to be true.

And, even if someone here guessed the Pikmin name, it isn't that unusual of a name that someone couldn't happen to guess it right.

They'll mention other things, just don't expect a ton of new game announcements or anything as it's focused on ARMS and Splatoon 2

3DS is mention so it's not just that otherwise they wouldn't mention the 3DS.

The tweets say that they're covering Nintendo Switch and 3DS games with a focus on ARMS and Splatoon, meaning they will be in depth on those two and have other stuff.

Plus, all global general Directs like this have had new reveals

I think I replied to you earlier ITT, not sure if you saw it. :)

In one of Nintendo's other tweets about this Direct they said at the least 3DS will also be talked about. They also said somewhere this is primarily focusing on (as in, not exclusively focusing on) those two games. So other things will be discussed.

Also, since you are new to Directs, yes, unless it is a specific game only being discussed (like the Wonderful 101 Direct) they almost always (maybe always) discuss other things and in WW Directs like this one they almost always announce at least one new game. They often announce games including: eShop games available immediately or within one month, retail games available within 3-6 months.

P.S. I heartily recommend you go back and watch some previous Directs. They are very enjoyable to watch. Iwata-san's presence is a delight. I also strongly recommend you read the amazing Iwata Asks interviews.

This list is definitely BS. The additional DLC dungeons for BOTW are supposed to be coming out during the holidays
