This movie had fuckbots..
The Avengers has Tony Stark.

Man if Peter Quill comes back to Earth and Steve Rogers ends up being the one to show him how all the new stuff works... XD.
Even with good sound in the theater, I still couldn't understand what Stallone was saying in his first scene.
Did anyone see Jeff Goldblum dancing in the credits?

Wait so celestials are born as giant brains?
I thought the early consensus was that it wasn't as good as the first movie, but I ended up enjoying it more as did I think a lot of other people.
Not as good as the first for me, but still a top 5, top 6 MCU film.

Why did Kurt age just the few decades that it took to find Peter? Or do you think looking more aged and fatherly was part of the ploy to lure Peter in?
Civil War has better highs, but after Winter Soldier it's just not the sequel it should have been. They tried going half and half, great story and awesome stuff. Doesn't mesh for me. I'd have preferred a more focused plot or just non stop fun.
Plus I care about GOTG characters. Asking me to care about Tony and Steve's friendship doesn't work because there's never been that friendship on screen.

Really? I've seen a couple of people say that, but they totally come off as friends to me..down to the arguments. Who doesn't butt heads with their homies now and then? 😁
Aka when they looked cool as shit and proceeded to have only Quil, Yondu, and Rocket fight Ego lol.Can somebody gif that 360 scene at the end when the new Gaurdians team is about to fight EGO.

Drax and Gamora did nothing combat wise smh.
I do appreciate that despite Gunn's struggle spreading of the action amongst the characters, that he succeeded in giving all of them a touching scene which is pretty crazy. Gunn's brother gave me more feels than most of the other MCU films in their entirety.
Solid movie, but some of the exposition was hilariously forced.
Also wtf is up with the cgi/green screens. Some of it looked horrendous.
My theatre had several people legit sobbing during the Yondu scene. That was some powerful shit.
And dude it's been mentioned but Kurt Russel is such a good actor. He was so great as Ego.
Omg that has to happen now. Would be hilarious seeing Cap catching up Star Lord on everything. He should just hand him his book about stuff he missed.
TBH I don't remember if Ego wrapped up Drax and Gamora/Nebula first before fighting those 3.I get your point, but if I was Ego I'd take out the heavy hitters first too.
But the only time we've ever seen them interact before they get to blows in CW is the Avengers movies, in which the first one they have a hate/respect thing and then in AOU they seem ok, but that movie is so packed that they seem hardly like friends, (to steal from Ragnarok) more like coworkers.Really? Geezuz..I felt surrounded by fucking people sniffling. Shit was nuts.
It was dope.
People on both sides of me were openly weeping.

Yondu's death might top "I had a date" as the most emotional part of a Marvel movie. That wrecked me.
Logan was great, but it didn't resonate with me like the end of GOTG2. For me, the saddest part of Logan was that poor family. We talking Marvel or MCU...cause if we talking Marvel, Logan wins that shit going away with LOTS of moments.
