This isn't 100% unheard of in hyper rural areas where both jobs are effectively part-time. It's also entirely possible that no one else ran for either position. However, Bozeman is pretty--er--"large" by Montana standards (I want to say around 50k?), so who knows.

Me too. I think it's a hard race. I think he has like a 51-55% chance of winning. But I see no reason about being overly pessimistic about something that's basically a coin toss.

This is totally off topic, but I was thinking of going to Montana to see the Glacier Park before it disappears, and goddamn, a round-trip is insanely expensive. It's weird, must be a location thing I guess
Doesn't have to be hyper rural and in many cases there isn't a separate coroner position. It's very common in many states and counties that don't have big cities. This is a complete non issue guys.
We need to stop categorizing every state as entirely red or blue.
If the drop in turn out is the same as in the Kansas and Georgia special elections compared to their 2016 elections, then Quist will win.

Definitely true, though I wouldn't call 4% a "healthy" lead. I think Gianforte has been consistently ahead because Quist is sort of a bad candidate, but Quist is probably ahead in the EV. Complicates things tomorrow for ED voting, which is usually strong GOP.
