They need to make Jason sense ability more clear when it's "active" or not active.

Sometimes I use it and it'll highlight a building or sound as I look around. Sometimes I press it and it does absolutely nothing at all for me.

Literally had one person left in the match and I was absolutely never able to see him before time ran out, no sound bubbles, no red vision, and I was using it as soon as it was up and moving around the map.

Jason is super overpowered as it is. The only "weapon" counselors have is the ability to remain as quiet as possible and not be found. In this case it was likely a smart counselor who just stayed inside and didn't move. In that situation you won't be able to find them without looking in every building (which isn't that hard for Jason to do).

Yes and no. As a counselor you need to find several items to escape. Technically you can find all of these items on your own, but it's much easier to find them if you can communicate with other counselors. That said, Jason can hear you talking if he's anywhere close by, so you still want to keep communication to a minimum.
 
My husband is on his second match on PC right now- glad to see the game finally let people in! The game looks pretty fun (and he's been having a blast) and it seems like it'd be a lot of fun with friends. Maybe I'll get it if there's a decent steam sale sometime to play with friends.

Man this game is awesome. Me and this random guy were hiding in a house when Jason started knocking the door down. The guy hid under a bed while I ran and all I heard as I ran was the guy's death screams as Jason axed him through the bed. Shit was gruesome haha
 
Finally got in on PS4. Pretty fun first game. Survived 10 mins before getting gassed and grabbed.

How do you use the walkie talkie? Do you just talk or do you have to press a button? I thought maybe the small items button (square), but I died before I could test it.

Just talk. Everyone with a talkie can hear you.
 
The devs have advised everyone to restart their games - they were previously using Amazon servers and they've officially moved everything over to a new server system that will increase stability and decrease ping.

Apparently once everything has permanently stabilized, they'll be rolling out a patch to fix some bugs and VOIP issues.
 
I got into just 1 game over an hour ago, lost all my progress, now I can't find another game. Absolutely ridiculous on all fronts. But who am I to complain as a KS backer? Streamers got early, problem-free access to the game with a headstart. Paying customers are frustrated and can't play a game they paid for, so it's all okay.
 
Just bought it on PS4. Krayven1980 if anyone wants to add me. I'm gonna be terrible but it'll at least be funny to watch me die.
 
I am really enjoying the game, there are several times where I am actually feeling stressed out. Like when the killer was breaking beds and I was hiding under one, but he missed that one so I got up, use my flare gun and the time run out. I was like holy shiiiiit. And the voice chat is also really funny (when people are willing to talk).

Yeah, playing on PS4 I got into a game where no one talked. There was like 20 seconds left in the match and I was the last one left.

I hear footsteps pretty close, when suddenly Jason blows up the door to the room I am hiding in grabs and kills me

I left that lobby hoping to find people who will talk, since it would seem more fun... but now I am back to looking for a room

I am playing on PC, but I am from Europe so you can imagine the mixed bag of languages and accents that you can find (myself included). On console people seem to talk less, I would try to start the conversation in the lobby.
 
For those asking about voice I noticed in settings/audio there's "Output Voice in World" and it's auto set to No on Xbox.
 
Dammit. I'm home from work now and my girlfriend wants to go out to eat. I've been waiting for freaking years and the furthest I've gotten STILL is the damn customization screen.

To that end, I still don't see my fucking Savini Jason. What gives?
 
Can't connect again......fuuuuuuuuuuck sake.

Had 3 matches all day, first game was incredible, second and third the host quit.

Seriously. No host migration or dedicated servers?

This game won't last long.
