Marvel movies aren't just a "quipfest" nor do they look like television shows in a denigrating way.WW is not a quipfest. Plus, it looks like an actual movie and not a TV show. It's biggest influence is Donner's Superman, which means DC must learn from DC.
It keeps getting better.

I agree with this. There were rumors of the Wonder Woman production/editing being a mess a few months back (last fall?). Does anyone remember the website that was passing off those rumors?
We should keep a checklist of who's making things up. Especially since we had that interview last week talking about how little was changed from final script to final cut.
This is the curse of like, every blockbuster for the past ten years almost. I really enjoy 2/3rds of a lot of Marvel movies.
The last 1/3 is the best part of the new GOTG though. I'm really glad this is getting such good reviews. This is the curse of like, every blockbuster for the past ten years almost. I really enjoy 2/3rds of a lot of Marvel movies.
There were but it's gotten to the point that announcing those rumours brings plenty of traffic to your site/thread. Take the recent JL rumours about reshoots and problems. Doing the maths, it can't have been true because all of the actors were working on other things at the time (hell, Affleck got fat and went into rehab right after filming).A few things. First off, weren't there rumors that this movie was a mess and in trouble? Second, is this movie good because Warner finally took a back seat and stopped meddling or because no Snyder or both?

It would be.I don't why, but I feel like this would be perfect with laughing Hugh Jackman.
I still think someone will come in to fix Superman.
Eventually.
Guardians looked amazing, but Civil War, Strange and SURPRISINGLY Homecoming look tremendously drab, grey, depthless and uninteresting. A shame! This has always been the dumbest criticism of Marvel movies.
I hope to hell I'm wrong.
Cavill could be the conversational, easygoing, lighthearted Superman easy. I would love it.
I just don't know that anyone there can figure out how to get that Clark to show up in these movies after all of...
of that.
Superman needs to smile just once and it would make him 50% better. Also not keen on Batfleck then we have Eisenberg as Luther.I still think someone will come in to fix Superman.
Eventually.
That ending/last shot thoughHell, even Logan - which is a top 5 (honestly top 3) superhero film, has a 3rd act that doesn't quite work as well as the two preceding it.

You mean man of steel, bat v supes, and suicide squad?

Dat feel when a DC movie has 97% on RT.

How do you wrote a good CB third act? Tjet only good one I remember these days was the one from Civil War. It salvaged the movie imo.

I bet Gal Gadot will be to Man of Steel 2 as RDJ is to Spider-Man: Homecoming.

I can see why the leaked synopsis thought that, because I think we are supposed to infer that Gal Gadot does send Bruce an email explaining this backstory. Thankfully, the stop just short of actually showing her do that.I think we all need to remember the alleged leaked synopsis of this film that claimed that the entire movie was framed through Wonder Woman's email in BvS.
I like that you ignored my mention of "heart and humor" as well as multiple reviews comparing this to Captain America: The First Avenger to drop the "quipfest" line.
It's okay to be influenced by both Donner's Superman and the MCU, which is clearly the case here. There's nothing wrong with that.
But I fully realize you'll never admit that, being you and all.
Edit: Oh god, I didn't even notice your "TV show" nonsense when I replied. lmao.
A bit of a shame to see how common "the third act stumbles" is among the reviews.
I'm the Donald Trump of posters (tm)This reads like a Trump tweet
You will instantly know why.
It goes from super interesting and grounded superhero movie toDoomsday BvS tier.
Yeah, great to see. 31-1 atm, really impressive.
That would be amazing.Hopefully more like ScarJo was to The Winter Soilder.
Ant-Man has an awesome third act. Like, that's a top tier blockbuster third act as far as I'm concerned. Jesus, was that fun.
