If you can't mute in the game, on PS4 at least, you can create your own private party from the XMB and it will mute other people.

Just feel like I have to share the latest match I just had.
It was against a Paul, connection was solid. We started off respecting each other's spacing but as soon as I tried to press a button, he deathfisted me. This was the first time I got hit with the deathfist and Jesus Christ, half my health bar just vanished.
So I tried purposefully feinting to bait out a Deathfist and block it. I did but the pushback was so large that I couldn't land a reliable punish.
So I tried spacing myself so that if he tried to deathfist, it'd whiff. Only other option was to run towards me and I could react to that.
So he whiffed deathfists and I punished. For like 7 rounds, only got hit by one deathfist.
The reason I'm sharing this is because I won TWO matches by just positioning myself correctly . And the fact that I made that adjustment on the fly proves to me that I have gotten at least somewhat decent at fighting games in general in the last year I spent improving since before I would've struggled with it and would've had to go into training mode to figure this out.

If you play multiple fighters, grab them digitally. Still have a slot for a physical game of another genre.

Yeah, games that I play in short bursts, but often, such as fighting games, are best digitally, I suppose.
Will I get the bonus Eliza DLC character if I buy it today, day-one instead of a pre-order?

People are obsessed with this (especially the NA scene?), idk why. It doesn't matter really for most people, especially in T7. Just play who you want and learn the match-ups and don't worry about it.
Picking who play by tier list is the worst.

You know what's not a good story? Tekken 7's. Final fight was ass cheeks, and I'm bummed that so little of the cast was playable, or even appeared at all. It' what? Lars, Nina, Kazuya, Heihachi, Akuma, Alisa, Kazumi (only as an opponent), and Lee.

Lili feels so good now...she already had the best sidestep frames, but her new u/f+2 sidestep attack is ridiculous

Hi, i play Raven.
She kinda has different routes for different launchers because half leave her backturned and half do not, and the juggle height difference is kinda big.
But to give you something to work with:
df2 BT b2,3 <pause> b2,4,2 s! qcf3,4 - use this one for other launchers that leave her BT too
After ws1 and other similar front turned starters you can either do b2,2 BT 3+4 b2,4,2 s! qcf 3,4 or you can do db2,1 b2,4,2 s! qcf3,4
After ff3 i'd advise ff4 1 b2,4,2 s! qcf3,4
After screw you can choose to do 3~4 into oki or ff3 ff4 as well.
Raven combos are not the simplest, so just go into practice mode and see what works. This should give you a start, right?

Yup. I disagree with Harada that new players should "learn a juggle combo". Getting a good feel for the game's movement, spacing, and blocking is the best thing a new player can do. They're the bedrock of the game mechanics.

Spacing is super important, probably moreso in 3D fighters than 2D ones in some cases.
Game is incredibly fun. I want to stick it out with Akuma but I kinda picked him up in SFV and I don't know if this will be an issue switching back and forth (it will be).

Lol so I got Eliza and I didn't even preorder. Just walked into Best buy grabbed the day one edition off the shelf and there she was.
Game seems to be selling well too. Grab the last copy (that was on the shelf) and the store has only been open for like 2 hours. Whenever I grab a new game from there, there's usually several copies on the shelf.

That said, still derping in Ranked (made it to Initiate? Which is probably not a big deal since ranking up seems lenient at this point).
I'm at at a point where I'm in trouble because:
-people know when to take turns
-Mishimas actually do electrics
-people actually block Paul's ff2 low followup (lol)
I'm not gonna play the game super serious, but it's still pretty fun to mash and realize your movement sucks.
Also, I'm happy whenever I set up a counterhit because I have maybe like 2-3 moves in my flowchart that are positive lol
(I died when someone fell for blocked getup f 1+2 into launcher)

Rage mechanic only. Gotta use his rage drive or manually activate it when in rage
