At least Kale can speak in complete sentences unlike the dummy Broly

This misconception annoys me, have people actually watched the japanese version of movie 8? Broly is smart, lucid and has plenty of complete sentences after going LSSJ

Its only in movie 10 they decided to have him literallly just say kakarott the whole movie

You can't try to trigger something you don't know about, and honestly who feels a weird tingling sensation in their back and is like, oh yeah i gotta get more o dat' instead of, damn did i pull something? better take it easy.

I don't think anything clearly points out that this is unique regardless of if Caulifa is a prodigy. We've seen three Saiyan from that universe and all three have managed transformations in a matter of minutes

If their race is inherently better at the transformation than U7's Saiyans then that is fine, but it makes no sense that Vegeta was the one revealing it to them for the first time. If it was so easy to transform then they should be full of Super Saiyans as I said

Cabba transformed while being pummeled and being told that his family was going to be killed and his planet destroyed, pretty normal Super Saiyan trigger right there.

Caulifla was able to trigger a foreign sensation that she never felt before to transform, showing how much of a prodigy she is. Cabba straight up told her he couldn't teach her how to transform like that, it was something she had to feel first, but she did it anyways, surprising Cabba. This is no worse than Goten or Trunks just getting Super Saiyan for no reason.

Kale has a unique transformation with its own unique trigger, she is not comparable to other Super Saiyans for this specific reason, it's not just Super Saiyan.

Such a terribly drawn and animated episode...
Man, some people must have really weird interpretations of the word terrible. The episode ranged from mediocre to legitimately good looking. There have been worse looking episodes in this very arc.

That was such a great episode. Loved how witty and serious Goku was during the entire thing. Kale's introduction and her being confirmed jealous lesbian was great, too. I'm interested in where this SSJ form will fall on the power scale. It dominated Cabba's SSJ easily, but Caulifla's SSJ2 reflected its attack, so it's probably still a good bit weaker than blue?

tbh this's the first episode this arc where I thought art and animation were distractingly bad.

Kale seems to get stronger the longer she's in LSSJ mode, so she could get up there.

She also went SSJ2 and blocked it effortlessly.

I know we don't have any concrete proof on it either way, just wondering what impression people were getting. To me it seemed like Cauli woulda had it handled.

Who do you guys think is stronger right now, Kale or Caulifla?
I'm gonna guess Kale, I don't think people should assume that SS2 Caulifla is as strong as Kale just because she deflected an attack.

I'm speeding through the episode again really quick right now and the worst I'm seeing is some kinda weird stuff art wise. 88 was a worse looking episode I think.
There was also nothing wrong with the animation, the character acting in particular was pretty great. The Kale fight scene could have been better, sure, but it wasn't bad by any stretch. This episode was totally serviceable, nothing amazing, but serviceable.

THAT EPISODE WAS FUKIN DOPE GODDAMN

KALE IS OWNAGE

FREEZA IS ULTRA HYPE

SWEAR TO GOD THESE FUCKS AT UNIVSERE 4 PLANNING REAL DIRTY SHIT ATM

Has it ever been explained why Vegeta doesn't wish for his tail back?

Oh yeah, they finally added Toyotaro to the credits as "Character Design Assistance" or something like that (google translate didn't give me the best translation).

If anyone's interested, it looks like all of dragon lee's doujinshi is back in stock, including volume one of his excellent what-if-it-was-vegeta-who-crash-landed-on-earth-as-a-child series, which I found really hard to get last year (all in Japanese of course).

Yeah, this is the kind of Goku I want to see more often, you could even tell Nozawa tried to give his voice a more serious and kind of evil tone.

Earth DBs only revive you once.

I forgot that rule!

Can't wait for Vegeta to discover that U6 has a legendary super saiyan.

U6 saiyans are clearly more evolved than the generic saiyans (i.e. not Goku, Vegeta & their offspring) from U7.

"And if this Universe remains"

Yep, Universes are going to be combined, proof right there as far as I am concerned.

Also, wouldn't it be a shocker if Goku mentions in the show Kale is "like Broly". I could see it happen, making Broly canon lol.

I hope this happens. Super expanded the DB universe way too much to close those doors. Though I gather if it does, there will likely also be some interesting things happening with the gods if there is but a single universe at the end of this. Is it really necessary for a single universe to need 12 supreme kais and 12 gods of destruction?

This episode confirms that Caulifla is best waifu. Kale can go crawl in a hole for all I care.

Watch Caulifla falls for someone at the tournament and Kale just goes batshit crazy requiring universes to team up and beat her.

Actually i'll love if the opposite result happens. Kale gets pissed off and hyped up and someone from the other universes just one shots her.

I could only imagine the salt from Broly fans.

only 8 universes are at stake here. they exempted the 4 strongest ones at the start since they were too good to get erased like this.

at the end of the tournament, only 5 universes total would remain going by what was decided. maybe 6 if they decide the last one should have a twin like the current structure.

Seeing Freeza back again leaves such a bad taste in my mouth that it somehow managed to outdo Broly being back (The worst DB character of all time) To be fair this character version of Broly is at least somewhat more interesting. So there is still hope for something great to happen here at least.

He only called Earth their latest target, not the last.
In the anime, they said that once they had finished Earth their zero mortals plan would be complete.

And saying that the anime added lines without any proof is just spreading rumors. It is like saying that the anime cut off a line about Vegito Blue possibly being stronger than Beerus.

The issue is that it's a fact that's different in the anime and manga. So it seems like Toriyama's outline hadn't established where their progress was overall, and each one took a different route with it.

On top of that, Black in in the anime is stronger than manga Black.

He'd be going around killing all mortals before even getting Rose though.

I've seen plenty of people say positive things about the episode, including some people that were initially upset about Freeza's return. I thought it was a pretty good episode.

The only down spot about this episode is that it had the worst art of this saga so far. Even then I loved the way the hell scene was drawn.

My favorite part was the dialog between Goku and Frieza. You can hear how much they hate each other, but also have a great amount of respect for each other too.

As for the Broly thing, yeah it copied from the first movie with the moveset, but Kale still feels like her own character and not just Broly with boobs.

Actually, what they said was that the final stage of the Zero Mortal Plan will being. Plus, why would Black say that him getting stronger is key to the Zero Mortal Plan is all the mortals except for a few Earthlings were killed?

Overall, the anime never suggested that Black and Zamasu killed all the mortals. They just said they wiped countless worlds and Earth is next on the list.

I still think 88 has worse art.

Can't really agree. For me, Episode 78 has questionable art, especially with Vegeta, and Episode 82 when it came to Beerus looking worse as the episode went on. There is nothing in Episode 88 that comes to mind that makes me think it looked bad any point.

Makes sense forgot about, would explain why they weren't beaten by the other universe top fighters if he only got to Goku's level by fighting the Z-warriors.

He only completed it when he turned into infinite Zamas right
