i dont want people to just ignore lifeline outright, by all means listen and consider anything he has to say, but both you and darryl initially appeared to be taking his (really bullshit) case with little thought or investigating of your own, and that is something that i will stand by being incredibly stupid.

I wasn't here after Blarg showed up D1. I was out the entire day. I showed up again D2 and didn't bother to go back over those fluff posts. I usually read without attributing identity to posts and then reread whatever posts stand out as important or people who I am on the look out for. If I'm not selectively reading Blargs posts, I probably just skimmed them and didn't think about it much. Sometimes I read fewer posts more times. I would hope everyone filters to try to get the results they want: winning results.
 
Probably, and I would because I always have this terrible feeling Palmer is masterminding us but he hasn't been on any of the suspicious votes.

Maybe that's his master plan. He'll just look as right as possible. Pure, pristine, scummy Palmer.
 
He's about as dead as any of the other posters. I have had a gut feeling he's a neutral, as he neither has the tone of town but he doesn't appear to be acting malicious, just disinterested.
 
actually that reminds me, earlier someone mentioned something about payers who have significantly dropped in activity, (but that argument kinda made me completely forget about it), but Palmer actually fits that pretty neatly,
i think it was going from day 2 to 3 his postcount dropped a ton, which to be fair was kinda inevitable given that it was in the triple digits before that.

though im not sure if that can be taken to be a nessisarily scummy thing?
 
Early on I wondered if Palmer was neutral. His role name sounds kinda weird too but then a lot of them could be ambiguous. He does seem to be genuinely hunting when he's here, though.
 
I'm pretty lost on where to go for the time being tbh and I've mostly just been reviewing and rereviewing the circumstances

Without anything to suggest we have a hostile neutral, I think it's best of if we hold off on lynching any further neutral claims for the time being, as I don't see that line of thinking going anywhere right now

Launch, I could maybe see - he's made some questionable moves, to be sure - but I don't see how that reconciles with his pushing Palmer earlier in the game when he would've been already breadcrumbing his vanilla claim

I wouldn't want him at endgame, but NS is probably town. Ditto for Lifeline. monkey and Odin should be safe.

I'm barely putting isaacnukem is town for now, but I'm probably going to have to reference his claim to his posts during the Night. ditto Darryl, I guess

that would leave StanleyPalmtree and timetokill. between the two, I'd probably just go with timetokill on Palmer's hunch from D2.

I'm wondering if Stan's grudge against Palmer from D1 is because he's town as well, but maybe I'm just losing my marbles
 
Speaking for myself, people lie in mafia. If it's not disruptive and doesn't hinder town particularly, I'm not fussy. Dunno how the others feel.

At this point, I do tend to believe Palmer is town. He seems legitimately contrite about starting the whole vanilla thing, he hasn't had suspicious votes, and he's been hunting. It's just that he's Palmer and his activity has dropped and without much else going around, well, it gives us something to think about.

No, it is closer to: we are afraid that he has been lying to us this whole time, but we lack any real evidence to support that theory yet. If anything, the continued number of vanilla claims/flips only solidifies Palmer's initial claim. The big worry now is Palmer's dramatic drop in activity. However, it sorta seems like he is busy in real life, too.

If we had a bunch of people dying every night, I would be worried about a serial killer, but that hasn't been the case. So far, it appears that we have had a sibgle mafia night kill every night plus Burbeting's one vigilante night kill. Nomadic Spark's claim and some stuff Blarg said may contradict that, but those are unconfirmed. So if we have a neutral, they are something other than a serial killer.

I do find the idea someone floated of a recruitable secret partner to mafia to be possible, but on the other hand I think Blarg or Swamped's flip would have mentioned that.

If we do have a neutral, what is their win condition? Doesn't appear to be serial killer or lyncher. I doubt it would be a simple survivor like Blarg claimed.

Well, having two people flip vanilla puts some of my initial speculation, that there were not many vanilla players, into doubt. I am inclined to believe that a few of the vanilla claims are honest, at least. So I can understand Palmer believing that he was the only vanilla player, though I still question the decision he made to claim on day 1.

While we have some crazy stuff in this game, I would think that my role fulfills that niche already. I don't think anyone has been acting like a tanner either. Most of the "lynch me!" stuff reads more as frustration leading to bursts of trolling.

I'm frustrated cause we're going in circles. I have been busier than normal IRL, but even when I've had time to come post, I've procrastinated and done other stuff cause this game is just aggravating to me. There are so many self-sabotaging town(?) that I don't know what to do.

I've made my case for 30/TTK, and have no intention to change it today. They just accused me of being a Tanner FFS.

One, GAF doesn't do Tanners.

Two, y'all really fucking think I couldn't get lynched if I wanted to?

No one thinks it's odd how difficult it has been to lynch ttk? Like scum is willing to bandwagon about 5 different people, but somehow not 30?

Not sure if you've read other games, but yes, I'm fairly good at being scum because I just play it like I'm town still. If scum does some dumb shit, I'll jump on them just like I do anyone. If someone is obviously town, I'm not going to waste time casting aspersions for a long shot lynch. I'll NK them and move on.

I don't know what you're hinting around at and why you keep hinting around at it, but if you want reasoning on why I'm scumreading you, that's part of it, and I've said as much in the past. This coy dangling of information that you're apparently still planning to withhold until, when? When half the active players aren't around due to timezones? is not particularly pro-town.

I don't know as much about roles and what's possible for GAFia or not so whatever you think must be super obvious about your role is not to me. If you have information that will help town, you should give it; you haven't, therefore for that and other reasons you appear scummy.

i reiterate that its anoying that he seems to be being straight up ignored,
like i aint expecting everyone to follow my majestic lead and lynch him off to the sunset, but its been complete radio silence, dont know how anyone is actually leaning on him at all.

Dunno why you're awake but we been talking about Nomadic for days. Just after I compiled the vote stuff we noticed he was the scum safe vote. So uh... you should look into that.
 
I understand that everyone is getting a little frustrated, but I do honestly think that town has been making progress overall. We have killed scum, and I think that all of our investigation and arguments are bearing fruit. So cheer up, town! We are still in a pretty good position.

Right now, it looks like timetokill is going to be the lynch target for today. Despite what Palmer said, I actually think it feels a touch too easy of a lynch. Still, 30years was on my early suspicion list, so I can't discount it entirely. Timetokill, if you are going to role laim, please give us a few hours to process it before the deadline.

On other subjects, I still suspect Launch over his suspicious votes, and I think Lifeline might be on to something with Stanley.

Just gonna go for Stanley. He's the scummiest player by far. Killing him would be cathartic after all of his angry huffing and puffing. And killing scum usually feels cathartic.

Look at him trying to absolve himself of the results of this lynch. He knows damn well TTK is going to flip town and just feigns concern over Nomadic Sparks, who has barely said anything all game and doesn't even know what is going on. Nomadic Sparks didn't even know that Lifeline was confirmed town. Is NS feigning ignorance? Is that some kinda sick Gambit?

Yet, that's all Stanley can think about. All of this work we have put into reading through posts and all Stanley can do is feign concern over an inactive and absolve himself from participation.

Look at his scummery in action. Go look at him every day and you will see he has done the scummiest stuff possible, consistently.
