Xbox E3 Conference 6/11 2pm PST

My predictions

About 100 minutes? And Microsoft has about 55% gameplay to talking ratio, so about 55 minutes of new game trailers. The rest will likely be Scorpio, XBL, or developer talk.

Pretty much confirmed to have trailers/demos:
Crackdown 3 (4 minutes)
Sea of Thieves (4 minutes)
Forza 7 (3 minutes)
State of Decay 2 (4 minutes)
Assassin’s Creed Origins (3 minutes)
Anthem (4 minutes)
Cuphead (3 minutes)

Assuming all come true,
25 minutes

Talked about heavily:
Something Halo (4 minutes)
New Ori (3 minutes)
Something new Rare (Banjo?) (4 minutes)

Assuming all come true,
11 minutes

Devs who might be up to something but too early to reveal:

Anyone else find it strange MS isn’t doing anything with KI? I know we got the last round of DLC last year. The studio that worked on the DLC seems competent. Wonder if they’re doing anything KI related.

Yeah, funny enough I feel like for me the thing that will excite me more than any of the AAA stuff or the hardware is getting release dates for the likes of Cuphead, Below, Ashen, and Tacoma.

343 has a halo wars 2 announcement they said also. So you can add that in somewhere.
 
When I met Phil Spencer back in November 2016 at Xbox FanFest Mexico city I was very excited when I went to the photo and autograph signing I got a chance to talk with him for 5 to 8 minutes I told him about my YouTube channel and that I have been a Halo and Xbox fan since the first day Xbox and Halo we're born (11/15/2001) he told me that "I'm the Halo man" :') and that my channel was very big, I also said to him that I'm very happy to se a man like him leading the Xbox brand, I offered him my support and friendship he was very happy to talk with me I will never forget that moment ever

P.S I also told him that my mother thinks he is hot and says hi, he started to laugh a lot hahaha :P

KI is basically near at end of lifecycle. Trailer for Eagle comes this week but I expect him to be the final character.

Probably will be a sequel of some sort... next year or the year after.

Will be interesting to see if they change up to the traditional model. A neatherealm style of story mode and a shift to the dark tone of the original would do the franchise wonders.

p.s. it's not Microsoft having a stance on Rare legacy IPs. It's Rare themselves.

Rare has full control on what they make.

I could maybe see Perfect Dark coming back, but it would likely be drastically different and potentially under a different studio to appease the current market.

As much as I'd explode into pure energy over a new Banjo game... I've made my peace with the franchise, haha. I'd love if a Rare team split off and just made $20-30 downloadable N64-style games on the side of their big stuff, but that's wishful thinking on my part.

I don’t agree with either of those.

IMO it’ll either be Xbox One X or Xbox Scorpio. The Xbox 10 S does not roll off the tongue well at all, and it seems weird to give it an “S” modifier already when Xbox 10 was never a thing.

As for the $499 thing, I really just don’t think Microsoft would do that again. Pretty much every console to be priced that high has had a failed launch.

Yeah I made my peace with Banjo being dead a couple years after Nuts & Bolts when it became clear Rare was a Kinect studio. It has been too far removed from those N64 days to ever expect a faithful revival of my favorite games from their catalog. So either they stay dead or they come back in a form I will have no attachment to. Seeing Killer Instinct brought back was cool but I definitely don't see that happening with Banjo just because of the difference in genre and target demographic between those IP. Perfect Dark wouldn't interest me either since it sounds like they don't want to go back to the FPS style of the first game and instead reboot it under a new direction.

You don't know that.

People assumed Rare had full control over their projects back on the OG Xbox and 360 and look how that turned out. You never know.
 
What I hope is to see games using the full power specifically developed for a 2017 console using 9 GB of GDDR5 RAM.

First party will have two sequels annnd that will be that.

I want to see this thing sing at some point, though.
 
I can't wait to see this!! I'm going to be honest, I hardly use my Xbox at all, but if exclusives are good for this and early next year, I might upgrade since I got a 4K TV last year.
 
$449 base.

$599 elite model with elite controller, larger HD, and some exclusive cosmetic thing like a decal or paint job. This model may be exclusive to the launch or only sold in certain stores like Microsoft and GameStop.

After all the leaks of cancelled Rare games during the Xbox era it is hard for me to believe that. Although if it is true then I wouldn't be surprised that Rare doesn't make Banjo given that most of the people working there came after the buyout.
 
Kind of concerning that nothing has really leaked as yet. Makes me think there won't be much beyond what has already been revealed and strongly rumored (Forza 7).

That would make me a sand panda. But I have no more hope left in the Xbox leadership.

When is the last time the Xbox E3 thread had more replies than the PlayStation? I'm not trying to start a console debate in this thread, I'm just trying to say the hype is real. If the hype is worth it or not is yet to be seen.
