Easy Allies @ E3 2017 Streaming Thread & Schedule

Positives:
- Evil Within 2
- Wolfenstein 2

Negatives:
- Awful presentation
- Short and abrupt finish
- Boring first 30 minutes
- Awful Skyrim Switch stuff

Bethesda had a good first attempt in 2015 but holy crap they've gone downhill in the two years since. Waste of time, may as well have just released the Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein 2 trailers separately and saved us the time.

D

This is actual fucking insanity. Holy shit.
OMG
This is Don't Hug Me I'm Scared.
We've been fucking bamboozled.

Yeah I'm genuinely enjoying the conference lol. Kyle's input from a comedy perspective is interesting, but the rest are disappointed in the lack of games and sort of just ruining it. I don't know why they expected anything crazy in terms of games, I'm just glad it's pretty funny (at least to me). I think this is ballsy, I appreciate the work that went into this.

I mean it's very apparent the point was to make fun of E3 press conferences so i'm not going to rate it. It was both highly funny and cringe at the same time.

Devolver is actually a great publisher with many good games.

But this was just straight-up trolling the audience. Huber got pissed, so I figure they succeeded. Good on them I guess lol.

Seriously some people liked it? It was just all a bad skit, not even had the intention to show games of them, have the spotlight to show it.

Just a time waster, i mean, i love Devolver, i don't know why call a press conference for this. Are they just pissed off at E3 or something?

Bruh, Damiani's gonna get all holier-than-thou about wasting people's time? Give me a break.

Yeah my thought too lol

Best part was seeing it get under Damiani's skin. That also boosted the Bethesda conference for me.

I'd rate Devolver above EA. EA could've given Battlefront to PS and A Way Out to Xbox and I wouldn't have missed them. The Devolver conference added some much needed personality to E3. I'm a little sad to see most of the Allies so impatient with it, as if there was actually anything better going on anyway.

This is by far the worst reactions the Allies have ever had.

This conference is HILARIOUS and they are shitting on it. Rough to watch EZA

To be honest, I don't know why Huber is getting so offended. As if the production values aren't to his 'high' standards.

Huber, the hype guy who does Huber Syndrome (a show in which he just hypes stuff)

It's all in good fun man, relax.

Posing it as a real conference is part of the humor. Having people roll into this after Bethesda and getting confused reactions from all of the twitch streams is part of what makes it funny.

Unfortunately most of the Allies were just apathetic lol.

Edit: Outside of the trolling perspective, and looking at them as the publishers they actually are, I also think this was a good marketing tactic. If they just announced a new Serious Sam without this show around it I don't think anyone would remember or care. These few games, as little as we saw, are still probably going to get more conversation than most indie games at E3 just because plenty of people will be talking about that conference.

You couldn't ask for too much more as an Indie dev IMO, and they all knew what they were getting into with Devolver.

It's not his style of humor. It's not mine either. I Didn't like it, I'm not offended but if I wasn't watching EZA I'd cut it out a couple minutes in.

You can tell Ian was the only person who actually 'got it' - but didn't really want to speak out to defend it because of how aloof all the other allies were.

Ok. I'm just saying it's odd how somebody who's always about being chill, taking it easy, about people being into things, would all of sudden being supper offended like his time is super valuable like he's some kind of surgeon with patients in queue. It's like chill dude it's a 20 minute meme on how stupid press conferences (indeed, actually are.)

He sounded super condescending. With people actually putting some creative effort behind it. Probably more creative effort than any Huber Syndrome show. Don't know why he had a such a huge stick up his ass.

It was pretty hilarious for about 3 minutes. Then it just kept going and it kinda ceased to be a joke and just became bad.

Ian seemed to at least be digging what they were trying to go for.

Because Devolver tried to sell this as a real conference and even sprinkled in some game videos while trying too hard to be some meta ironic commentary on E3.

And it dragged on, it's just a weird, relatively average episode of a mediocre Adult Swim comedy show.

Ian said it best, you can go for commentary and have it be funny, but if it drags on like it is you're just basically a worse version of what you're trying to mock.

I can understand not being crazy about the Devolver conference, but jesus the Allies were acting so butthurt and self serious about the whole thing. Relax guys lol

Respect to Ian for at least giving it a fair shot.
