For Crash 1 i've definitely found it worked better with the D-Pad.
As expected really, Crash 1 predates the analog stick.

It'd be a bit higher, but probably not by much. It wasn't out of stock for very long.
Crash Bandicoot was quite successful in NA, but it's a bigger franchise in the UK and Europe.
Any differences mechanically or feel when compared to Crash?
Friend, I've always held in my mind a comparison point that I could never be too sure of having not played through much of Crash 1.
That is that the Crash trilogy progression is eerily similar to that of the SNES DKC trilogy.
First game is rough but has merit, the second comes along and improves on everything and then the third is almost as good but gimmicks can overload.
And this is without factoring in other funny coincidences like minecarts=boar riding or how the busty blonde of the first game mysteriously vanishes in the sequels like they suddenly thought "I made a huge mistake".
But back to Crash 1, this game is like an exercise in how much mileage you can get out of the basics of the genre, even with the remaster polish I still have moments where it's like "okay, that enemy didn't hit me" or your toes slip off the edge of a platform you just landed on, once again very much like DKC1 and its occasionally wonky hit detection and slippery platform edges. But in that sense there's something oddly familiar about it all.
It may be a product of its time yet here I am enjoying the rather faithful recreation of 90's jank and level design specifically tailored to break the spirit of children.
Basically I'm enjoying Crash 1 more than I thought I would.
lol this gif.
Hopefully they patch the long loading times soon.
eBay has $50 PSN for $40. Here is the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buy-a-50-So...0-Via-email-delivery-/263063382783?rmvSB=true
Use it on digital version of crash nsane trilogy for $40 on PS Store and plus you get $10 left over.
so that time trial time on level 1, crash 1.
how?
EDIT: by the way guys, be super super careful when saving. to save is square for some messed up reason. luckily the game autosaves but man.. its not X to save on the save screen now.
Native Fortress is still a very difficult level!
How do you play the Lost Treasures DLC?
Yeah is this out yet? What's the deal with it?
Well, it was developed by Vicarious Visions, you know.Thing I hate is it says developed by Vicarious Visions and not them and Naughty Dog. Miss those old Naughty Dog intros, at least should have gave them some credit.

Some games do that. Especially if they're remasters of more than one game. Even though you "installed" the game it still needs to do some extra installing. So uh
Started the game & if I try to select 2 or 3, it says "installing" underneath & I have the disc version, with no indication of how much is installed/how much longer I have to wait.
Edit: Oh, nevermind, 2 just became available. Weird.
Is it Vicarious Visions who have signed it?Got mine!
