Damn, I know y'all are gonna hate me for posting this, and I want to love this, but... HOLY SHIT IT'S HARD!!! It doesn't feel like every death is my fault either. The camera doesn't always give you the best angle on the action, which leads to a LOT of depth perception issues that it can make difficult to gauge where you are in relation to where you need to jump. Also, the controls just feel awkward and imprecise, even with the D-pad. They're just so touchy, and it's so easy to go just a bit too far on some of these ultra precise jumps. It's like the levels were built with a level of precision in mind that the controls can't quite deliver.
I want to stick with it because this collection looks and sounds fantastic, and I love platformers (plus, these are the only Naughty Dog games I haven't played, and I want to be able to say I've beaten 'em all), but damn, this game is raising my blood pressure, lol. Do the sequels get better/easier/better designed? Do the controls improve? Also, what's the deal with all the keys and diamonds/crystals/whatever I'm apparently missing in every level so far? I feel like I'm missing something there...
