Today's experience with Salmon Run in a nutshell:

DGK6ljbUIAAbjDf

Same here except x3 of the big guys, x2 Steel Eels, and the Drizzler on High Tide. SUCKED.

Baller is probably my favorite special. Can't settle on what loadout I like best yet, but the 52.gal/point sensor/baller has been amazing for me in ranked mode.

This game has its hooks in me in a way the first game didn't

I just keep...playing more Splatoon
Same here tbh.. not enough hours in the day for me to play this game. Barely made progress in SP and only played a few matches of SR. MP is just too addictive, eats up all the time I have.

Add me to the ranks of hopelessly addicted.

Finally comfortable with fast InkBrush swiping. I was lamenting that it wasn't possible with the ProCon (and Joycons), but now i'm doing it as fast as i did back in S1 with the GamePad.

Any reason why gaf doesn't like League?
Splat-GAF played plenty of Ranked matches in S1 as a team.

Just got this game and after a few days of having a hard as hell time I thought I was getting used to split joycon play tonight... Except now I barely get to play. Had like 45 minutes to an hour tops and after about 40 minutes I've disconnected all but one game I think. Two games got disconnected at the game over, so I didn't get any of the reward of playing. I've never experienced this in a game before.

S rank in Splat Zones. No tube breaks along the way. Just a lot of preventable losses. I see you, roller. I saw your only meaningful contribution to the team in the form of a beakon right on the bridge. I saw you basically dry hump me as I fired away from the high ground, and then fail to even cover my flank. I see you and I am disappointed in you.

Played a bunch of Salmon Run tonight for the first time (I played through the tut and one match when I first got it). Still not really feeling it, boring compared to just about every other mode in the game including single player. Feels almost like a chore daily you see in other games to get those bonuses except you need to grind it.

I like it but I'm glad it isn't daily. Much better once in awhile for me and I'd feel compelled since the rewards are good.

This is how I feel. It's fine but I'm not playing it for fun, I'm just getting the rewards.

Just can't get past 215% tonight. Keep getting wiped in Wave 3. Ah well, will try again in a different comp.

Had problems with the Steelheads tonight. They kept doubling-up, where the bomb would land right as the other one's bulb was out. I kept trying to approach with the .96 but kept having to back off. Blech.

I love the game, but I keep getting disconnected. I tought it was the distance to my router and I was going to buy a repeater. But i tried playing in tabletop mode almost over the router and I still got disconnected from a couple of matches =/

It's amazing how you can destroy everything in the first two rounds of Salmon Run, before getting wiped, but also have games where you barely survive the whole time and manage to complete a run.

Yup, I can go 21/8, 17/9, and 12/10 with a wipe with like 20 secs remaining and then have a 11/8, 9/9, and 11/10 with one person going all Matrix dodging to let time expire.

Even today two rounds in one run ended with me on one side of the map with boss salmonids and dead teammates on the other lol. Always takes a bit for people to understand what I'm doing as the "help" transitions to "booyah"

Huh, i got hit with one of those on my first match of the night, same stage, similar percentages at the end. More embarrassing because they were down a guy the whole time, just managed to push us back all the way to our base and keep us there.
Yeah with that stage in particular if you tsk control of the centre and don't allow anyone up it can be all but impossible to comeback

Was playing Turf War on Port Mackerel and the enemy team had one player disconnect and then they all got stuck in a corner of the map...two matches in a row.

Free wins and 2,200 points each match with double exp effect, I'm not complaining but holy shit I'd be furious if I was on that other team lol

Like they all got stuck behind a wall and couldn't get out, I think my team covered 95% of the map.

EDIT: Here we go, found the exact glitch these guys were having https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shecitiSzRY

Had one opponent tonight try the old, "Hide in the corner behind enemy spawn on Port Mackerel" trick. But I respawned as she was doing it. They weren't even on our side yet, she just snuck in just because. It was weird.

Although. really, she literally made an ink dead-end to the back left corner. Where were we supposed to think she went?

Oh neat, just saw that there's a different prize at 1600. Anyone get it yet?

All I got past 1200p was Grizzco shirts and hats rotating back and forth.

This game is such a damn rollercoaster! Tried Splattershot on Turf War for the first time, really clicked with it and went on a big run of wins. But then the Splatgods decided I was getting too cocky and sent me disconnects, bad teammates and aching wrists (too much playing, haha). Luckily I got a second wind, ignored the pain and brute-forced my way back up the freshness ladder...

Freaking Splatoon! Haven't had this much fun/addiction since Halo 2 multiplayer :D

Yeeeep, this was my feelings for a good while when the first Splatoon dropped two years ago haha.

Just made it to A- in TC. Port Mackerel isn't bad, and rain cloud is really helpful at the end checkpoint.

Shipyard is pretty damn annoying though.

Now I just need to get to A- in rainmaker, already A in splatzones.

So I just got a bonus on Salmon Run and couldn't tell what it was. It wasn't a ticket. Some kind of icon. Anyone know what the type of rewards are to figure it out?
