I would probably ask questions that seem innocent enough and then go off on a tangent whenever "something" suspicious comes up. Basically distracting everyone else, which would make my seat safe.

Still not entirely sure. Leaving aside my desire to policy lynch an inactive, maybe Kyan and Bronx? Neither of those are strong reads though, if I'm honest I don't have much of a scum read on anyone currently.

I mean that is some extremely low hanging fruit though. Scum is usually a bit more subtle than that especially when they have heat on them. If bats wasn't already confirmed town I'd likely vote for him for some of his positions that he stated. So town being weird is not out of the ordinary.

Cuz I read some flaming messages and I got a feel about them. How should I say it... drive-by posting? Popping out of the scum cave every now and then to comment on something? Oh and I like the wise tone in the posts, that feels kinda scum-like and reminds me of the better days when I did not have to play with the dumdums of town.

Its low hanging fruit for a reason. It's awful, objectively bad play.

Scum can be more subtle, but they are human just like everyone else. Not to mention dusk didn't really have heat on him before that post.

And sure some of bats posturing gets on my nerves too, but I can at least understand his posts come from his own brand of logic.

Again, this isn't town "being weird" even in the best case. It's town playing in a manner entirely beneficial to scum. If you'd like to see an example of dusk doing this in the past, you can just go read anime mafia.

It will take a huge revelation to move my vote today.

Are you leaning on him actually being scum or do you think it's just Anime Redux? Because its all well and good when a confirmed townie goes after someone that they might feel could be just really bad town. But anyone else doing so would be a bit more problematic.
 
1. That Dusk post seems very scummy to me. Coupled with his others, I can definitely see it now.

2. I see almost nothing with the CSS/AB scenario...still. Even though cab continues to push it. Which is a little odd, but that's cab.

3. Splinter seems slightly suspect, but not enough for me to vote him. Again, people seem to be obsessed with splinter.

4. I still think Flame is scummy. Even though no one else does.

5. isaacnukem is sheepping and looks suspect doing so. But he's new(?), so maybe nothing.

Cabot had a fancy post up there with isaac's tale. I agree with it, not a lot in that one and the Dusk vote comes out without any reasoning. Suspicious in the way that there is at least something little but the little is bit ehh.

Either or.

I don't find going after potentially just bad town as problematic at least as far as day one goes. I frequently do it in almost all of my games conftown or no.

Dusk certainly has done nothing to move the needle of probability towards him being town and so with no strong scum signs from anyone else he's is right up there in terms of EV even without me thinking that as town he's more harm than good. Add that in and it's no contest.
