You think Marvel is a nightmare to work with imagine working with Disney as a whole.
yeah it was fun to think about it but I am sure you are a 1000% correct

so is the Daredevil dream dead?
There was a Daredevil dream?
maybe S1 DLC
Are they really doingseasons for this?
It wouldn't be a first for the series if they did though, Marvel vs Street Fighter had a Japanese comedian of all things

Yeah, they said few years.
they say a lot of things :3
I'm not happy about the MVCI roster but man, MVHvSF roster was the absolute worst.
5 out of 9 SF characters are Shotos, and on the Marvel theee relatively obscure villains and Norimaro taking a slot?
Was such a let down after XvSF which blew me away at the time.
I'm not sure what you refer to? At least, enlighten me what you are implying?
I mean they said that they could use all Marvel characters as well, and look how that turned out.
Man, I'm itching for more gameplay footage. Game may look whack and the roster may be disappointing but competent gameplay is still fun to watch.
My impression is this game getting an esports push for sure since UMvC3 got ushered out the door with a ceremony and all to make room for MvCI.

I'm 90/10 on this game being on the Capcom Pro Tour
I thought the implication was that Marvel wasn't pushing it for the CPT? Combofiend said "the community will really rally behind the game and throw their own events" and stuff.

"we really don't have the money to throw 500k out for another game."
Bracing for no esports push and 1 season of dlc before they drop support altogether due to underperformance
Hard out here being a mahvel fan

I doubt they drop it all together, they haven't with SFV.
Depends on how the community likes it. But I don't think the FGC will drop this one and go back to UMvC3.
If they patch ultimate this game is done, which is why they didn't.
.
let's not forget they didnt even fucking patch Ultimate, and that WAS a success (as far as I know) lol
Why didn't they ever patch it? I know licensing can be difficult to work around, but I figured that they would have put that in the contracts or whatever? Did they just move the MvC3 team to other stuff immediately after Ultimate?
what? the ultimate not being patched thing went on for years long before this game was even a twinkle in Ono's eye. Just stop dude.
I meant when they ported the game to PS4 last year.
Capcom probably wanted to focus all fighting game efforts on the eventual smash success that would be Street Fighter x Tekken.

I told them not to patch Marvel 3
No one's really talking about that except you tho. We're talking about vanilla Marvel 3 and Ultimate back when they were first released. They never received support.

This is what I assumed. It would make sense to use the same production. This game will 100% be on the CPT. Capcom's mentioned at least twice that the CPT will support multiple games. Why say that when there's nothing in the pipeline to make that even relevant?
Them mentioning grassroots stuff is their way of saying "We'll let the community handle everything until the next CPT starts up in March".
I thought they couldnt update UMvC3 because of licensing issues? Hence why they pushed out UMvC3 soo fast after vanilla MvC3.In the PS3 age, patches cost money. I think the certification process with Sony was somewhere around $10,000. Seth Killian said it just wasn't something they were going to do.
I think toward the end of the last generation all 3 big console companies dropped the outrageous fees. If the timing had been a little different, maybe the game would have been patched.
There are other factors, as well:
-The tsunami is what led to UMvC3 - it wasn't supposed to be a thing initially.
-SFxT bombed, which made Capcom wary.
-Licensing ran out after a while - they couldn't even sell the game digitally!
-"Games as a service" wasn't yet in vogue for Capcom.
-Capcom is dumb.
I KNEW it!
BronsonLee was a mistake

Because they weren't sure if people were certain the roster was meant to be a joke.Lol why is Dan in there
so who ARE these guys that did this bracket reset "tournament" with the SDCC build? Because these combos arent just "hey I just started playing this game 15minutes ago" combos, a lot of these look like they know exactly what they are doing and not from playing it for 15minutes.
