I don't think they care much about exclusives on Xbox and there's probably a reason, that's why they're releasing them on Windows 10, might be enough for the average gamer but for people like us it's a big reason to skip the console. And there are also a shit load of VR games MS is missing.

the lack of exclusives is one of the main reasons i never really touched my 360 (the other being that i had to pay to play online for like the one or two games that i did actually want to play for the thing). Cause of that i have no interest in buying a xbone and even then, i got a gaming pc so the very few that come out i can just buy the one i want on pc (so far i've gotten KI (season1-3), forza horizon 3, and gears of war 4. I've enjoyed them but lets say that i couldn't play them on pc, these games aren't worth purchasing an xbone for to me.

Nope, the library of games available on PC (and mobile) dwarfs every other platform in existence.

That said, what the PC lacks nowadays are big budget exclusives with high production values (e.g. The Last of Us, Horizon), mainly because, unlike consoles, it doesn't have the backing of a platform holder.

There's Star Citizen on PC, but not much besides that. And by the time its development is complete, it may well end up on a potential PS5 lol.

They never said they will keep anything exclusive. Windows Report is speculating.

For a year with such a fantastic overall selection of games coming through on other systems (and even with cool side-attractions like the Hot Wheels expansion for Horizon 3), Xbox exclusives have felt sparse. The year may end stronger for them, but they straight-up need to address this cadence in the future. Post-launch support on their major titles has been especially good, but that isn't a solution, and doesn't matter to people not engaged there.

Yep, sold that and ps4 and stick with PC for those types of games and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

But as Phil stated, some games are console games, and some games are PC games and they just won't work on one or the other. He doesn't want to force them to be Play Anywhere to just be PlayAnywhere. He said that wouldn't be a good experience.
