How fast is your internet and what do you pay?

And where do you live?

I'm in Canada where we get royally fucked on telecom stuff. I've been able to snag a good promo from Bell though: 300mpbs down, 100mpbs up, unlimited for $65 a month (goes up to $85 after a year).

It's actually a pretty great deal, one that i was surprised to get from these terrible companies. What do you have?

I pay $55 a month for 100 mpbs down and 3 up for Cable One. To be fair, I am in a fairly rural area and I actually get something close to 110 mbps and always have my advertised up and down or better (and based on past internet providers, this never happens).

UK and for £45 I get 200Mbps down and 20Mbps up

Unlimited with no caps, throttling, traffic management or anything.

"Saturated fat causes heart disease as much as Brawndo is what plants crave."
1 Gbps up and down. $80/mo. No throttling.

Perfectly able to grasp the inherent value of the fishing game.
I'm on 200/20 but my price is part of a package for TV, Phone and Internet. I pay £69 ($89 ish) p/m for all 3.

$93 per month in Canada

With 60Mbps up, 10 Mbps down and 200GB bandwidth per month

But that includes a combination modem/router rental, and a rental for an Hd PVR box and basic cable TV.

Not the greatest deal.

100mbs down. 100 up. £33 p/m ($43).

There's a package with 1GB up and down for £50 p/m ($65) but I thought that was overkill.

Best thing is it's a steady 100mbps as they're artificially capping it from 1gb, so it's very reliable.

Wow, that's all? I'm paying like that much for 25Mbps (or mbps I dunno) and 6 up in Vancouver with Telus. I'm packaged in with landline and TV.

Specifically $73 for internet, 129 for everything.

Also, do you have unlimited bandwidth? Telus started limiting and charging data, but I got a loyalty unlimited bandwidth thankfully.

€ 47,50 for 40 mbit/s internet, television I don't watch and a land line I don't use.

Really looking to switch to 100 mbit/s plain ol' DSL without television and phone.

Mine is unlimited, i'm in Oakville, Ontario. Live in a new townhouse condo development, so we have Bell fibe that runs to our buildings.

200 Mbps d/s // 10 Mbps u/s
£36

What do I actually get? Fucking 35 Mbps d/s and 10 u/s, Virgin have this area as 'oversubscribed' so I have them heavily discounting my deal until they fix it.

I think shared residential area gets better deals when they collectively go under one company if I'm not mistaken.

Might be hard to pull off that deal in my residential home.

Or it might be 30 up, I never actually checked the up when I upgraded from 200/20.

Unlimited use with no throttling/management.

Equivalent of about $45/month for 100/100. Sweden.

EDIT: No caps of course. We don't have them on home connections here, only on mobile data plans.

Unlike a traditional high-rise condo, the townhouses here people are allowed to go with anyone they want. It's similar to owning a detached house.

Live in the US. Internet is Verizon Fios Gigabit (750 up/750 down) 69.99 a month and 10 bucks for the modem so $80 a month.

$85 a month for 120/5. Comcast sucks.

I agree. but try canceling and going without internet for a day and then signing on as a new customer. should be able to get promotional pricing.

3mb down and 1mb up, for $15 per month. No cap. It's TWC's cheapest plan.

I live in NYC and could get much faster internet if I wanted, but I don't want to pay for it.

Edit: Fixed price
