Now I'm at the mercy of RNG and Exotic Engrams...
At least now I can destroy all < 265 Legendary Stuff!
Including all the Blues

Still have all the Exotic Quests and NF, Flashpoint to do, but I think I'm tapped out on the farming side on my Warlock...

I remember playing the first mission in the beta and being really bored, as if movement or something was screwed around with and the game felt too slow

and now replaying the first mission in the final release and it was actually quite enjoyable and fun. Movement felt a lot better

so (I believe) the three items you can pick from are also available randomly in engrams.

God dang you guys and gals are grinding hard! Surprised to see people on 2nd/3rd characters with full vaults after a few days, hopefully the grind to 300 isn't locked behind weekly raid runs like D1 felt like.

Seems like there is lots more to do in D2 and lots more of mini progressions you can make between the NF/Raid loot.

One dropped for me during an adventure early in the game in the EDZ. Not sure if it was scripted or not because getting one that early felt unreal, but I ended up getting Skull of Dire Ahamkara out of it.

Was a perfect first exotic for me because Obsidian Mind was my favorite exotic of D1 and the Skull in this game has Obsidian's abilities.

Reading through this thread, I feel like I'm playing something different.

I made a post in the Beta thread, where I said the dual primary weapon system was a major concern. In the beta, it was great for PvP, and just rubbish for PvE. I've just unlocked Nessus, and unfortunately, it's everything I feared it would be. The combat is just not engaging me, and I'm completely tuning out. The mission where you drive the truck thing to meet Amanda Holiday, I was literally day dreaming most of it. I stopped swapping between the primary weapons because it doesn't do anything, save to bring down the shield of a mid-mission boss. The dual primary system feels like the gameplay equivalent of a monotone public speaker. Shoot, take cover, reload, rinse and repeat.

The amount of content looks nice, but I'm looking at the maps and seeing all the Adventures and things to fight through, and feeling zero motivation to play any of it. On the other hand, PvP is great fun, and feels like a massive improvement from the original. It's great to play and has great moments, but it cannot carry the entire game. Frankly, it's going to be a struggle to finish out the campaign, and I'm already starting to regret my purchase. I cannot fathom the loot grind this time around.

You can't send your 260-265+ Warlock gear to your Titan who may have a Legendary gear that can if use and get them pushed up hella quick.

So each Class has to be leveled up individually, can't power level off main and feed the subs


Also another Heads up infusion is not 1:1 it's like +7 like TTK infusion.
On top of that you need to feed the same class weapon.

Can just energy weapon into energy weapon, has to be class based like Scout Rifle into Scout Rifle.


So there are new grinds coming online now, that mist should be aware of and this PSA ain't spoilers, just helpful tips to make you take advantage of the info

Not sure about the supposed not 1:1 infusion as I've only infused one thing (a class item) and it went from 204-to-260 which I infused a 260 item.

Almost to 270 now.

Because D1 at launch hardly had a story. There were barely ant cutscenes, the missions felt disjointed, there wasn't really a "big bad" and you never built a relationship with any of the characters.

It is much improved here but I admit it's not perfect.
