Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

When I finish a meditation it throws me into a black screen I can't leave. I have to log out to get back into the game.

Anyone else running into this?
 
I am starting to lose my willpower of waiting on the PC version. So many people on my Twitter feed are going on about how great it is. I have a PS4 just sitting here waiting....
 
hunters got dicked in this game. shitty armor, shitty cloaks, shitty subclasses. at least they're still good in pvp i guess, and i died a whole lot less during the campaign on my hunter than my i-can't-jump-lock
 
Oh, i forgot to ask earlier.

Anyone else getting instances where chests are giving out nothing, and when gathering resource nodes they deplete but you get nothing?

On 3 different planets i had this randomly today, started off gathering fine then suddenly half a dozen or so collections in i was getting nothing added to the inventory and no notification i had collected something on the side, loading out of the planet and back in got it working again for a while before it started happening again.
 
Got a random invite to do the night fall. Completed it on first shot with plenty time left, glad to have that milestone out the way. Got up to 278 light, just trying to get to 280 before starting my next character. The grind is real, but I enjoy it.

I'm surprised I rarely see fellow Warlocks using Blink. There's a bit of a learning curve, but the more I use it the more I love it. Great for closing distances and evading.
 
At 269 now, about to do the MIDA quest..Wondering if i just need to say fuck it and make another warlock. ergh.

I was using blink until there was a jump on Titan I literally don't know if you could make with blink, so I switched back lmao.

Thats normal. If it happens, leave the area and return. Chests should start dropping again.
 
Finished the Nightfall on my Titan with 3:37 remaining so I feel like I'm getting better in that regard (finished on my Hunter with 10 seconds left but that was my first time too).

Titan up to 285 PL now.

I never really liked it for platforming. Made me wish it would switch between it and the glide automatically going in and out of combat.
 
What do I have to do for the Crucible weekly quest? I really don't like PVP anymore, but if it's a minimal time investment I don't mind. Why doesn't the game have some built-in way to show quest requirements?

Is EDZ or Titan more time efficient in terms of public events and lost sectors? Not sure which one would be quicker.

Also, are dailies on each planet worth it?

And one more off topic question: what do you guys think the prices will be for xur? My friend was thinking since the legendary shards are so easy to get in abundance it wont be cheap like xur was in destiny 1 with strange coins. He was thinking maybe 50-60 shards for an item but I dunno. I thought maybe like 25-30 at the most.

IIRC there was only a Legendary Gun for pre-orders (Coldheart). If you got the Collector's Edition or Limited Edition there's a Legendary Sword. No Exotics as far as I know.

Coldheart is exotic and I also got a second one from an exotic engram like a few hours after getting the freebie. Its not a pre order exclusive or anything.
 
I may have to run another warlock at this rate, look at this mug. About the most exciting drop I have had is my exotic head gear, other than that most of the legendary stuff I have got so far, meh.

Lost sector at the southern part of the map. It's really easy to sparrow down all the way to the boss. A couple rounds than finish off with Drang. Rinse repeat. Let me try and find the YouTube video another person here linked me. Took me about 20 minutes to get all 10.

I'm about to do the same. I just got to 260 and getting ready to turn in my planet tokens and then turn in all the quests npcs. Hoping to get a huge bump like you did.

Damn hurricane already making my power flicker and it's barely touching me. I just wanted to finish my challenges first, damnit.
 
So I got round to finishing the campaign and hitting 20, is there a little guide anywhere on the best way to get better armour and what to do adventures/etc?

I know Engrams that you pick up already have their power levels assigned so you might as well open them, but what about Bright Engrams? and did I read that you get some for free after finishing the main story?

I also read a comment somewhere saying I should be getting better gear from other stuff and not completing my milestones till I get to a certain level?

That warlock looks sic!! I run a warlock and I'd take that all day!
 
Strafe jump is my new jam. First jump is a hop. The second jump is a directional boost. Helps my titan catch up to faster teammates and close the gap on enemies before I smash them with my powered up fist.

More or less do heroic public events until you're 260, then farm tokens. Save milestones until you're like 266 or above if you can.

edit: hold onto 5 blue scout rifles if you can, as well as saving 5 legendaries to decrypt and 1 exotic. You'll need them for quests.
