Hang on a second, have we now reached the point in this thread/news cycle where people of color are coming out of the woodwork to defend PDP?! Is that really what's happening on the internet right now?
Me personally hell no. Fuck that guy, glad to say i never intentionally clicked or watched a single video from the guy. My point is as a 23 yo black guy who can admit the N word is probably top 5 of my most used words, I'm disappointed in him and myself. I'm pissed on behalf of the offended and all of those who were subjugated to overt Racism in their lives, however I personally have absolutely no right to start spouting bloody murder

Boogie is streaming now on twitch. Wanted to see if he would say what he said was unforgivable. Noooooooooo pe , he literally just said that racism is ok if there is no violence, i am not kidding. He said I can tolerate it then went on to just say he is ignorant about the word. Dude works on the internet, he knkws all about the fucking word.

People been calling out Boogie since yesterday saying that he would do this exact thing. It's his M.O.

It's said in lots of rap/hip hop songs ad nauseum, and that music is super popular. Not surprised it subconsciously enters your brain and you slip up.

He should have apologized right after for sure. Owned up, said he made a mistake, and be done with it.
I don't know the man personally, so I don't think this defines his views based on one word said in the heat of the moment.

You accidentally call black people niggers?

No fucking way he is that stupid to make that comment. Oh wait, after all the other dumb shit I believe it.

Fucking A+

The reliable second wave.

It's like I said earlier, even Dylann Roof has a black friend. I'm not even mad, just sad that the events of their lives led them to feel that debasing themselves was the way to gain acceptance and purpose.

This has got to be one of the later waves of a Robotron-like when they start throwing really unexpected enemy types at you, like they're running out of ideas

Side a:
Racist speech and racist violence is bad

Side b:
Racist speech and racist violence is good

Boogie:
Let's meet in the middle, racist speech is good and racist violence is bad.

i'm so glad that boogie thinks racism doesn't affect anyone, because who would know more about suffering through racism than boogie?

this dude busts a gasket at the slightest hint of fat shaming just because he's fat. he's so self serving that it's painful

That sniveling man loves his ignorance. He wraps himself in it like a security blanket. You would wonder how someone who is so supposedly ignorant on everything manages to function day to day.

But fat shaming? Boogie will make a 20 minute long video about how you're wrong and shouldn't do that (rightfully so)

It's just so amazing how these people don't care about shit that doesn't impact them. BUT when you do hit too close to home then there is no "meeting in the middle"

That's not the same word and it's not used in this context at all

i asked my 8 year old son if he knows who pdp is (so i could tell him to never watch his shit ever again), and he says yeah he knows him. i ask him if he watches him, he says "no i dont like his voice". LMAO, good kid.

Cant clip since on mobile but when his past broadcast goes up, check it out. It is at the very beginnjng of stream. Legit says racism is ok if there is no violence involved....multiple times he says this

So he's a racism enabler. The white 'moderate' racists, neo nazis, and KKK depend on to grease the wheels of their psychological warfare and marketing campaigns for recruitment.

Once again

Why is is so fucking hard for these guys to just condemn racism with no fucking exemptions and no catch? These fragile fucks can't even perish the thought of not being able to say a single goddamn word out of the kerjillion that exist but will gladly hold up the megaphone to someone's mouth telling minorities they're not human.

(I already know the answer, but, still, it's so sad they can't even do it)

This isn't his first fucking time. Look up his little "death to all jews" thing.

when in rap does anyone use the hard R? When do you just slip up saying it in the Heat of the moment. Unless you've said it plenty of times before.

Hey, at this point we have to have "The Good Ones" to chime in as well.

Too bad they don't realize that if people could say the word with impunity without getting checked, guess who the word would likely be directed at first (only behind their backs, because even though they are "one of the good ones" it's "still a shame that they are black.")

Bruh only white supremacists use it in songs with the hard -er.

That's like giving Michael Richards a pass because he was mad, it was the heat of the moment in a highly emotional state, and it subconsciously entered his brain. Only five times.

Fuck this piece of shit, I ain't giving this scum another benefit of doubt

Even better, the "heat of the moment" is a fucking video game. I can't even process that someone could defend saying RACIAL SLURS BECAUSE THEY GOT MAD IN A VIDEO GAME.

What the absolute fuck is wrong with people.

Absolutely right. Imagine these people in high stress jobs or situations, if this is what they say just having a teammate die in a battle royale game.

I'm a black guy...here's my take.
It's obvious he uses the word off camera as many people do. I use the word all the time with my peers under the facade that it means something different since I am also black. It can't be seen as demeaning if I'm black as well. Obviously this is wrong. I admit that, but because of this I have no place to Judge PDP, even though I would kick his ass had he said it in front of me. Granted there are black people who despise the word entirely no matter who says it, and while I personally will not be a hypocrite about the word, out of empathy towards those people I am very sorry. If anything this has me reevaluating my use of the words even more so about my casual use around and towards non black folks. It's a dark day for YouTube indeed. When my little brother uses it online I cringe I feel like the veiled security, anonymity and influence of social media platforms and the vast online communities have forgotten the consequences and implications of speech. Younger people, like myself, seem to think that because overt racism is less prevalent in most places that nothing from the history of the black man's plight in America and around the world is too sacred or taboo.

Yeah your life doesn't influence millions of young minds, nor do you make a killing off of casual racism. That's not to say that your stance isn't respectable. But this is about something more then some random dude comfortably dropping the word nigger.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not, but I don't care...

In what rap songs you've listened to recently, have you heard the rapper say "nigger"? And not "nigga" which is a term of endearment?

We using the Don Imus defense now for this piece of trash?...

He's a hypocrite who lacks empathy for others.
PDP's words are now Boogie's words. Treat him accordingly.

I hope to God he doesn't throw up these dumbass 'opinions,' to actual people in real life.

For most of these chicken shit white boys the most stress they'll ever have to deal with in their entire lives will be inside a videogame.

If I have a quick loud reaction to something, it's usually a loudly pronounced "FUCK" or some string of expletives. It sure as fuck isn't a racist slur.

This shit is resting comfortably on the tip of his tongue for him to reach for when he has a sudden reaction, with zero context (not that there's any that would absolve it). And it clearly isn't the only time he's reached for it as other posters in this thread have presented.

Are you serious? Honest question, do you 'accidentally' say nigger when you play video games?

If you are ignorant about PDP's history then seek out knowledge, ask or do you own research. He has a history of antisemitism. Does that qualify as racist to you?

Jesus Fucking Christ.

Oh fuck off the word "nigger" is not used in everyday context in music or in speech.

He cant use this excuse.

It's also perpetually obvious that of course white streamers are just fucking fine with non-physical racism in a world where 99.9% will never encounter being treated or pre-emptively needled or derided for the color of their skin.

Any attempt to excuse away this shit is stupid but the whole "said it out of frustration/in the heat of the moment" really really needs to stop.

It's a paradigm.

He's either too far removed from the word to know better, or too exposed to the word to know better.
