Lol touché. Maybe they plan on giving the speaker some purpose. Kind of lame how they made him out to be almost supernatural in D1, and now it's like he just made shit up. Something of a false prophet, for lack of a better term.

Some new attacks, but Fallen have Rise of Iron and House of Wolves. Crotas End and Kings Fall for the Hive.

Cabal had the shaft untill now. Osiris is looking like Vex Raid perhaps and then back to the cosmodrome for Rasputin (Fallen?), so by next fall we'd probably be ready for another Hive Raid.

I played over the entire weekend and until now to get my first character, a warlock, through the story and to about 240ish. Now I'm kinda curious to see a hunter, and don't quite like my main's face anymore. Should I just play on and not think too much about shit or is it worth it spending a ton of time just to basically get a new face and risk a class I might not like?

I only saw the tweet that said 4 hour maintenance as soon as the servers went down. So I got my work and errands out of the way so I could jump back in immediately so I missed any changes until just now.
 
A cool small modifier for a future Nightfall; HUD is disabled.

I was even thinking one that kicks people off party and fireteams chat but they can cheat by using their phones. Either way, the nightfall is finally challenging again and I love it. It was way too easy in D1.

The bad part is that nothing comes of it. Nobody knows that but the player, and it went absolutely nowhere story-wise.

Not to mention
as far as I'm aware, the Speaker never even seemed like a bad dude. Maybe the Speaker is just a leader and his role is to do whatever he thinks is in the Travelers best interest. "Speaking" for him, per say.

It's a cool idea, very poorly executed.

Nightfall was super easy, barely even a challenge. I hear Bungie might have messed up and not applied the correct modifiers. Might be fixed when we all log back in next time.

I'm gutted I didn't progress far enough in the Rat King quest, this nightfall would have been easy to complete with loads of minutes left.

Not a fraud. The Speaker is a role of office. The Vanguard and the leader of each faction make the ruling council and The Speaker is essentially The President/Prime Minister/etc... The entire "The Speaker speaks for the Traveler" thing was always a figure of speech more than anything else.

Exactly. I think a lot of people take it way too literally.
 
Can someone explain how the level scaling for Nightfalls, strikes, raids and other things work?

For example, say friend #1 is 265, friend #2 is also 265, but friend #3 is 300. Will it scale all of us or will friend #3 just be scaled down? I'm a little confused.
